Greensprings Vacation Resort Williamsburg Stay

Spent two nights a this resort in a two bedroom two bath apartment. Just what we needed and wanted for our short stay. The apartment was well furnished and clean. It is convenient to both Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. Enjoyed a comfortable and quiet stay. We had a third floor apartment and probably should have just asked for a first floor since we were two senior couples. There are many amenities that we did not take advantage of. My favorite resort of all to visit

I am writing this review while currently vacationing in Williamsburg and staying at Greensprings Resort. I frequent this location as often as I can because it is such a wonderful place to stay. The staff here has the most pleasant attitude and always are attentive to my situations. Everyone that I have encountered at this resort has provided exceptional customer service. Also, the rooms are really clean and spacious. I love the fact that I have a full kitchen as I am one that would rather prepare my own breakfast versus getting up and rushing out to beat the restuarant lunch switch over and crowd. I am writing this review while currently vacationing in Williamsburg and staying at Greensprings Resort. I frequent this location as often as I can because it is such a wonderful place to stay. The staff here has the most pleasant attitude and always are attentive to my situations. Everyone that I have encountered at this resort has provided exceptional customer service. Also, the rooms are really clean and spacious. I love the fact that I have a full kitchen as I am one that would rather prepare my own breakfast versus getting up and rushing out to beat the restuarant lunch switch over and crowd.

Great Resort in a Great Location

We had a 2 bedroom unit which was very spacious. Everything was clean and well cared for. Loved the back deck with the small table to sit at for morning coffee. Our view was of a small pond with a fountain and woods. Lovely. We called housekeeping twice. Once for a baking sheet which was delivered immediately. And then again because we could not get the plugs to work in the bathrooms. A maintenance man came immediately and took care of the issue which was nothing major. Everyone we met that worked here was extremely helpful and courteous. Loved our stay here and will do it again. The resort is just a very short drive to all the Historic locations in and around Williamsburg as well as Busch Gardens. Virginia Beach is an dhour and 15 minutes away which makes it a nice day trip. Wonderful Stay!

We stayed for a week in mid-November and were more than pleased with our condo and the facility in general. We had requested a ground floor unit and, although they said they could not guarantee our request, they were able to accommodate it when we arrived. Check-in was easy and there was an ~$18/day "resort fee" assessed, along with a $100 security deposit which was promptly reimbursed upon our departure. We thought the "resort fee" was excessive but we knew about it when we booked our stay. The grounds were beautiful and very well kept, as was our unit. The kitchen was quite dated, but it was clean and well-equipped. The entire unit was spic-and-span. The beds were *very* comfortable and it was great to have 2 sinks and a large spa tub in the master bathroom, along with a nice shower with decent water pressure. There were plenty of nice, fluffy towels in both bathrooms too. The living/dining area was very well-furnished and there were windows everywhere to let in the natural light and to view the gorgeous fall colors. It had a fireplace and DVD player and a good array of channels on the TV. Unfortunately, it was too cool in the early morning and evening to enjoy the nice deck; we were out playing "tourist" during the warmer hours of the day when we might have been able to take advantage of it. We had a problem with one of the toilets and they responded promptly & took care of it; the serviceman was very pleasant and friendly and eager to be sure we were satisfied with the repair. We used the indoor pool and spa while there and it was clean and the water in the pool was comfortably warm. They had a putt-putt golf course on-site, but we never got the chance to use it. The resort is a few miles out of town but the location was still convenient to the broad array of tourist attractions, shopping and restaurants in the area. We spent time in Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown areas and took the *free* ferry from Jamestown over to Surrey one day too. Wonderfully relaxing vacation in a very nice resort! Thanksgiving Family Week

The staff at this resort are some of the nicest we have encountered lately. They went above and beyond to meet all of our needs. Our family had 3 units for the week (in the same building) and one unit for a couple days. Make sure if you need twin beds for any reason to ask for them as some units have a queen in the second bedroom. The lockout units are great because you can open the doors between the units and there is still another door to go out to the hallway so things can be opened but you still have privacy (we used a gallon of water as a door stop). If you are planning on doing a lot of cooking bring your own special pan or appliance as these are limited. Also bring extra containers or ziplock bags. But we were able to ask for anything we needed and it was provided. Overall we had a great time and we all said we would go back to this resort.
