Great value, quiet

Club Ciudadela is located in a quiet area between Cala’n Bosch and Son Xoriguer beaches. You can walk to either beach in less than 10 mins. Has a great pool area surrounded by trees and greenery and is perfect for relaxing, as it’s very quiet. They also have on-site parking, but they got busy at one point and we parked off-street quite easily right outside the hotel. Hosts are great, always helpful. We arrived late (10pm) and there was a note on the door of reception instructing us where to go and how to get into our room. Rooms are definitely large and functional. It’s not a 5 (or even 4) star resort, but the apartments are large, with a terrace overlooking the pool. Large kitchen area with all the utensils you’d need. Bedroom is also a decent size, we did find the bed a little uncomfortable. Bathroom is adequate and has a shower. They provided a fan because of the heat (no air-con) and the room has a safe. Very clean throughout, no complaints. Plus they are pet friendly, which is a huge bonus (there were a lot of dogs while we were there). Reception has all manner of information on activities and rentals, plus a bar and a restaurant? (Maybe for breakfast, we never used it). There’s also a mini golf course at the back of the hotel. You can walk to Lago d’en Bosch in 5-6 mins (where there’s loads of restaurants) plus there’s a market about 5 mins away. Overall, a nice stay, recommended if you have a dog. Great location

Once again does not fail to delight - A slice of paradise

Club Ciudadela is a slice of paradise here on earth. It is a real jewel in the crown of Menorca and offers peace and tranquility. A beautiful location, the apartments surround the large pool, each apartment has either a patio or a balcony, they are fully equipped with cooking facilities. If you do not want to cook the restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner on the terrace overlooking the pool. Their is ample free parking, beaches are within easy walking distance as are the shops and the marina. The owner Martine is very helpful, Club Ciudadela is family owned and run, and they treat guests like valued members of their family. The staff are all multi lingual speaking at a minimum Spanish, French, German, Italian and thank goodness English. Wonderful little Apartments and great value for money

We stayed here during the first week of October and what a delight it was to be located here. The Club is situated between two lovely beaches one in Calan Bosch and the other in Son Xoriguer and both are within an easy walk of between 5 and 10 minutes. Both beaches are very pretty with an ample supply of sunbeds and beach cafes Calan Bosch is next to a pretty marina with a good choice of bars and restaurants and makes a great location for dinner. Club Ciudadela itself is a delightful Apartment. The place is stunning with a beautiful swimming pool and gardens. The apartments are very spacious with large private terraces and are spotlessly clean. The owner Martine is charming and helpful as are her staff. Breakfast is served daily if you want it but the apartments have all the facilities if you wish to self cater. Lunches and evening meals can also be provided if you wish and we had an excellent curry there one night. I would highly recommend this delightful place and hope to return in the future. Fantastic!

Stayed for seven nights. Fabulously clean and peaceful place. Highly recommend for a family, looking forward to returning next year. Owner/manager a lovely lady and very helpful.
