Well located. Comfortable.

Our room had the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. We appreciated having the kitchenette, laundry facilities as well as standard furniture. At a later stage, these rooms could use an update as some items are a bit aged. This of course would be very costly due to the number of rooms available. As with all Accommodation providers during the Covid period, losses have been significant. Even so, the air conditioner and other appliances worked well. After three days we asked for more towels and were only provided with bath towels. We really needed the entire set as our hand towel and floor mat needed replacing as well. This is standard procedure in all motels. Other wise, a very pleasant stay. Our room had the essentials needed for a comfortable stay. Good location. Not notified of ongoing construction

This was our first little trip since the pandemic, while the location was good, was disappointed to learn upon arrival that there was ongoing construction on the building and amenities were closed. We’ve mentioned it the reception staff, they said the notice was on the website and they’ve sent out emails about it but I didn’t get any. I’m a healthcare worker and booked through the link of healthcare heroes booking site and there was no notice on there whatsoever. It was noisy even on a Sunday and the tradies were playing very loud music even early in the morning which all defeats the whole purpose of going away for a holiday. We can’t even swim or chill peacefully in the pool because of that. We just had to go to the nearby beach to get a quiet time away. It was disappointing and we didn’t achieve the little break we were aiming for. A weekend escape

A much needed weekend escape with my family. Pleasantly surprised with the room upgrade and was happy to find out that the sofa is actually a sofa bed. It wasn’t mentioned in the accomodation. The weather was not that great but we still enjoyed as we had a really nice and spacious room. We didn’t mind staying in as we got all we needed. The kitchenette was an added plus! A much needed weekend escape with my family. Pleasantly surprised with the room upgrade and was happy to find out that the sofa is actually a sofa bed. It wasn’t mentioned in the accomodation. The weather was not that great but we still enjoyed as we had a really nice and spacious room. We didn’t mind staying in as we got all we needed. The kitchenette was an added plus!

Friendly helpful staff and lovely spring view

the hotel is centrally located, close to the waterfront and a range of shops and restaurants. Staff were very helpful when we needed to alter dates for medical reasons. Our room was comfortable and the view of jacarandas in bloom at Ettalong was lovely. the hotel is centrally located, close to the waterfront and a range of shops and restaurants. Average hotel with a good location

Stayed in Mantra for a long weekend when Covid restriction was eased. Location wise it's good. Close to the beach and the playground, perfect for family with kids. Have some cafe/restaurant nearby, also a club/rsl downstairs - though the food was not so good and overpriced. The room is spacious. Bed was comfortable and the spa bath is a plus. However, the curtain/blind didn't do a good job in blocking the light. The sofa was shabby and lost its support. Bird drop was found on the outdoor furniture. TV was small and there's no free wifi - not a big deal for us though. There's an undergoing renovation work which caused some noise and also led to the close of the swimming pool. Service-wise, first of all, it's not a hotel, but a service apartment, so don't expect a full hotel level service. I believe it also has some owner occupied units in it. Due to the covid, they didn't provide any housekeeping service during your stay unless you pay extra for it. Well that might be understandable, but for a two night stays they provided only one set of toilette sounds pretty, well, stingy. In short, it's a pretty average hotel.
