Spot up in the Foothills

The resort is in a remote area about twenty minutes out of town next to a long abandoned hold course. There was lots of wildlife on the resort grounds as well as in the surrounding areas. We enjoyed listening to the Elk bugling at night, and Tehachapi was a good gateway to the Mojave and the nearby mountains. The resort was kept clean and maintained well. The kitchen was well stocked, but a little difficult to maneuver in. The room was big with comfortable furnishings. It is a good place to stay with plenty within day trip distance. STALLION SPRINGS GETAWAY

An amazing place to stay in Tehachapi with wineries nearby. Incredible wildlife viewing: deer & elk. The nearest golf was either Bakersfield or California City, approx. an hour away. Nice units & community ice machine and BBQ. Hot tub an added bonus! Free DVD checkouts in the office. The only downside was Saturday morning grass mowing and leaf blowing that lasted a few hours. A wonderful surprise

Hope to visit again. The drive to the resort was beautiful.I invited a friend and we were both enchanted by the area.The accomodations were excellent.Large rooms, small but adequate kitchen. Nice deck.Comfotable furniture.Helpful staff.Michael was a gem. Hope to visit again. We loved the place.

We loved Stallion Springs Resort. It had nice accommodations with a little bit of a rustic feel. We were able to spend 9 quiet days there, and our love grew each day. It's a wonderful place to walk around the roads and see herds of deer and elk standing or resting nearby. We loved Stallion Springs Resort. Resort stay

Had a great week there. Check in was super easy. We were there October 1st-8th. There were deer and elk there every day. So much fun to see. The resort is dated but very clean. The closest town is about 15 miles away but not a big deal for us. The office has DVD's they let you sign out. There are walk paths all around. Nice quiet resort.
