Great Building, Nice Rooms, Terrible Experince

Pricing discrepancy to start out, which was not major issue and then charged for things I didn't use when I checked out. This 5 start hotel/building has very few of the 5 star trappings when it comes to staff professionalism. Excluding the food & room service staff they where great!!! Air conditioning didn't work at all, I melted. Maids would not clean dirty cups in room, wifi was terrible worst of all 9 hotels on my 2 month, 5 city trip. I had to send messages and e-mails in the hotel lobby or 2nd floor. Door men where very unhelpful, to the point of annoying or just rude depending on the day. Front desk was hit and miss but overall it left a bad taste in my mouth compared to that of cheaper and lower star ranking hotels. High unimpressed and I will not stay at this hotel ever again. Overall Good

We stayed here for three nights on our tour to Chengdu. That was three separate nights so we had to leave our big luggage with the counter twice while on the road. Staff was very courteous and helpful even with a big group like us checking in and out of our luggage. Breakfast at the ground floor cafe was good and they served certain kinds of noodles in the morning. Good coffee too but not enough tables for all if there are large tour groups. A market (Carefore) across the street made this a convenient stay. We stayed here for three nights on our tour to Chengdu. Great experience

All I can say ,,Great experience''. Rooms are very clean and tidy, the bed mattress very comfortable. Western Restaurant have dinner buffet which feature allot of choice and a variety of selection for free beverages. Employee are very kind and warm with their service which impress me allot. I understand is the best hotel in the area and I hope to be back to stay every time when I am back to Chengdu for business. All I can say ,,Great experience''.
