Amazing vacation close to the mountains

This is an amazing resort! We had a 2-bedroom cabin with fireplace in the woods. It was very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and more. We loved that we had our own gas grill on our deck; grill utensils were provided inside the unit. Beds were very comfortable, living room was spacious. We saw deer, squirrels, ducks by our cabin. There is free mini golf, free washers and dryers in a very spacious laundry room with comfortable chairs and sofas. There are tennis and basketball courts, lake with kayaks (in season), lots of areas to walk around and enjoy nature and the view of the mountains. There is a stable on the property and you can go horseback riding for a fee or even go on a carriage ride. 2 outdoor pools, 1 indoor pool, small market store, pool side grill (all seasonal). You'll need a car if you want to venture out of the property to go out to dinner or visit some of the historical sites, wineries, Charlottesville. Good place to stay.

Very nice place to go visit. the resort has lots of walking trails and you can even go horse back riding. If you are going for lots of activities outside of the resort you will have to do a little bit of driving. Staff and accommodations are great

We love staying at this resort because the the resort facilities are in excellent condition and the staff has always been helpful. The equestrian center and staff are great!! We have been to this resort 3 times and the biggest problem has been availability. Never Again

My wife and I are actually owners of a Bluegreen timeshare, and it was the worst decision we’ve ever made! We were heavily pressured to purchase our timeshare after a long 3 hour presentation where many promises were made about these amazing vacations we’d be able to take. Come to find out you’re pretty much out of luck when it comes to being able to book any trips as an owner, even to the locations that we were initially promised we’d be able to travel to. We were able to stay at this resort and can honestly say that it was a very disappointing trip. I guess we should’ve expected as much from Bluegreen. This resort didn’t have the views or amenities that we were promised. There was talk about a yurt during our presentation along with beautiful pictures, and we were really excited about staying in one! Turns out the yurt was incredibly cold, dirty, and full of spider webs and cockroaches. To add to that, we didn’t know that the rooms were open ceiling so our kids could hear us and we could hear them. We’ve obviously come to see Bluegreen as a scam, but good luck getting out of that contract. We’ve been fighting like crazy to get out for almost a year now. If you’re looking for a pleasant vacation, I’d say look elsewhere. And if you’re thinking of becoming a Bluegreen owner, I’d say run as far away as you can! Quiet Getaway in the middle of COVID

Our cabin was fabulous--large rooms, great decor. Thought it would be difficult to find food so we took a bunch--didn't need to---plenty of places. Enjoyed all the antique stores and just walking through the streets. Our cabin was located on a hilltop--beautiful scenery but the steps were a struggle after a long day.
