Another fabulous visit

We have been visiting here for 10 years now and have stayed in 9 of the 11 apartments. From the moment we arrive and are greeted by Elinor and her team it feels like we have come "home" *for a week. All the apartments offer something different, we particularly love the ones with the spectacular views. Everything is reassuringly clean and the beds are extremely comfortable. While KP may not have the most up to date facilities (no power showers or whizzy kitchen gadgets) it all adds to the air of genteel country house living. I wonder where else you'd get a billiard room?! Within approximately a 3 mile radius you have spectacular coastal walks, the beautiful river Dart with numerous boat trip options, the steam train and 2 fabulous National Trust houses and gardens to name but a few ideas for outings. Thank you Elinor, Katie, Claire, Angela and your most helpful handyman whose name I didn't get, see you next year! Very quiet and peaceful

We stayed in Carew which looks over the car park; the only ‘view’ is a small glimpse of Dartmouth through the high up kitchen window. However, as we were out all day this didn’t impact on our experience. The bed is huge and extremely comfortable. It is totally silent at night - I have never stayed anywhere which was so quiet and peaceful. Plenty of space in the apartment with the exception of the tiny kitchen; having said that, we managed to cook every night. The garden is lovely with furniture for sitting out and admiring the view. The location is great - high up on the hill in Kingswear with fabulous views over Dartmouth when walking down. It’s about a ten minute walk down to the foot ferry - maybe a bit more walking back! Wonderful break

Lucky to have booked this resort to coincide with restrictions being lifted. Great location - wonderful views from the apartment and gardens. Apartment had everything we required, but perhaps a little outdated, however we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would certainly return. A great area with lots of lovely places to visit. Haven of peace

This was our first visit here, on a weeks exchange through Interval. We were fortunate to pick it up at short notice, and even more fortunate that the weather was superb. We had a beautiful and comfortable apartment, and felt totally ‘safe’. Face coverings must be worn in reception - none of the other public areas ie swimming pool etc are open at present. There were sanitizers available and the outside seating was, or could be easily wiped down before/after every use. The views from the top of the Redoubt hill are quite stunning! However, a car is essential, the roads are very narrow and steep, as one would expect being in Devon. The beds were so comfortable and there was nothing we lacked, except for one slight issue! The hairdryer isn’t within reach of a plug and mirror at the same time! A small irritation obviously. The staff were helpful, and welcoming, we couldn’t fault our visit. Inevitably, there wasn’t much ‘social distancing’ going on in places like Dartmouth and Brixham, but away from the crowds, up on the cliffs and country paths it was glorious and relatively peaceful! Good location, lovely views

Just spent a week here. Stayed at the Turner appt. Appt was spotlessly clean and kitchen is well equipped even had a dishwasher. Stunning views of dartmouth river and back garden. Managment and staff are extremely helpfull. A car is needed to explore the beauty of the area. I highly recommend Just spent a week here. Stayed at the Turner appt.
