Great Place to Stay

We spent a week at The Ridge Sierra. It is a timeshare that is also rented out. There are two locations fairly close to each other. My stay was at the 299 Olympic Court location. Room 130. Stair climbing was minimal. No elevators in these units. This was a 2 bedroom that sleeps 6. One queen bed. Two twin beds in the 2nd room. Hide a bed sofa for the other 2 persons. This unit has been updated so is very nice. Check-in is by a computer screen. It was no problem. They issue you your key and parking pass. Parking was very close to the unit. It has 2 bathrooms, one with a shower and the other with a tub with jets. Fully stocked kitchen. The stove is a convection / microwave combination so a little small compared to a full size oven. It only has a round glass plate like a microwave and they don't supply anything else to bake on. So you might want to bring something for that if needed. We usually eat out for lunch, so it worked for us. Hairdryer provided and a night light. The Internet worked good. There were not too many people here, so that's probably why. Verizon 4G worked great here. Our stay was just before the first good snow. So in a transition of seasons. I would definitely stay here again. Everything is setup for 6. 6 chairs at the table, 6 of plates, silverware, etc. Electric cooktop stove. There is a hot tub with jets on the top floor. Your room key gives you entrance. They have an agreement with The Ridge Tahoe a much larger Resort nearby so you can use their tennis court, health club, etc. It is a 5 minute drive away. You use your parking pass to gain entrance. If you have any questions, you dial 0 on the phone in the unit and someone is available 24 hours a day to help you. The instructions for almost everything are online. So when you get in the unit there is a card with a QR code on the Kitchen Counter. When you bring that up, it has the TV channels and answers to most questions. The location is very close to Heavenly Valley Stagecoach lift. There is a shuttle bus to pick you up or you can drive there in less than 5 minutes. South Lake Tahoe is about 15 minutes down the hill. Lot of things to do there. Evening shows, casinos, restaurants, etc. We loved staying here and would definitely stay here again. We spent a week at The Ridge Sierra. poor experience

If the furniture was replaced and unit cleaned it would be an okay place to stay if you were going up there with buddies just to ski.Only good thing to say was the view was fantastic. The kitchen only had basics not enough to spend a week. Mixed review.

First impression was not good. The outside of the building was badly in need of maintenance. The paint is peeling and flaking. The check in process was just weird. You go into the lobby and wait until someone shows up on the TV screen. The audio is horrible so you have to pick up the phone to actually speak to the person. At first she could not find my reservation. After about 5 minutes she was able to find it and told me my condo was not ready and she would call me when it was ready. She never called so I came back after 2 hours and went through the same process with someone else. My condo was ready. Next step was to run my credit card through a machine which was on the far end of the counter from the phone, so I could not talk to the person while I was doing that. They had a machine there which printed parking passes and another which issued room key cards. Again these are far away from the phone. Mountain view

Great set up, we had a 2 bedroom & enjoyed the two baths too. Small bathrooms but worked great. Fully stocked kitchen, nice dining room table! 3 flat screen TVs. I would stay here again!
