Fabulous views

We had a one bedroom which was spacious, clean and quite high with possibly the largest balcony! The views of Dehradun and the mountains were amazing. Did not eat much on campus but the Mahindra quality is generally good. Food is generally high priced though. Lots of monkeys on campus so one has to be careful. Good location as it is on top of Gunhill right in the middle of Mall road. Evening activities create a fair amount of buzz (noisy!). One has to be careful is choosing a room. As it is the resort is on a hill so you either take their shuttle (Rs 100 per trip up or down) or walk which is not always fun. Excellent food. Great location.

Avalon Holiday Resorts is affiliated to Club Mahindra and has studio, one bedroom and two bedroom accomodation. The views of the hills are fantastic. Best place to stay!

Resort is situated at the highest gun hill, mussoorie, They offer stays in studio, duplex villas which is very good. While you are sitting outside your villa, you can experience the mountain views all around. Temperature at the resort is usually lesser than the central mussoorie. Horrible experience this visit,In 2016 it was excellent. Mahindra's have to pull their staff.

After a drive of 8 hrs waited 45 minutes for check in being senior citizens and members of Avalon for many years were given a room to climb 50-60 steps,no rooms available?all lies people paying cash being preferred rooms given immediately.After 4 days given a room near reception.Glum faced unfriendly reception staff.
