Nice beach, great team of staff. TERRIBLE FOOD

Super beach area, accessed via a small bridge. Pretty clean and well looked after. Avoid the food at the beach Really great team of staff, especially those looking after the kids. The ¨entertainment team¨ - if you like that sort of thing - really seem to enjoy their work and have an infectous charm. Some of the accomodation is good - if you get a renovated one, near the beach -good . Old one next to the car park - bad. Even with a renovated room though, you might find there is no hot water, and despite promises to fix it, it doesn´t get fixed and you have to change rooms. A repeated ¨feature¨here was guest services promising something and delivering nothing. The pool area seems decidedly dated. Sharp edges and all a bit ´90´s. design. Looks pretty in the photos, in close up it´s ok but nothing special. A bit late for breakfast and even in restricted capacity covid times, you might only find a couple of loungers in the dust (where there once was grass). The elephant in the room is the food. Awful. Ended up eating out. Poor variety, poor quality, poor presentation. How on earth a hotel in the north east of Brazil manages to get such poor quality fruit for breakfast is beyond me. Better fruit is available at the little market stand 200m from the hotel! Some attempts at Covid measures, but not enough. Repeatedly ran out of gloves for food service, not enough hand sanitizer, not enough staff cleaning tables, food serving area full of flies (how difficult is it to have lemon candles and ventilation?) It´s a shame really, the entertainment staff work so hard to make this a happy holiday location. Then they get let down badly by guest services who don´t have enough bedsheets, maintenance that can´t provide hotwater and a kitchen that would cause a prison revolt. The waterpark is ok for half a day of sun and junk food, but the waterpark in Fortaleza is about a million times better! Super beach area, accessed via a small bridge. Disappointed

the arrival at the reception is disappointing. the assistance took a long time and they gave me a key that didn't work for my room. my room is leaking on the bathroom ceiling and they still couldn't solve it. Awesome experience

Awesome experience, resort's staff is very kind and this definitely makes the difference compared to other places, we found several activities on the pool, beach and around the resort, all of them guided by the pleasant "Equipe peixe boi", the food is in indeed very good, with many options even for people with lactose intolerance (this is great). We missed options for celiacs (people intolerant to gluten), but this didn't interfere on our experience. Keep investing on your people, this is the best you have (and of course, the nature life there is breathtaking. Program of Animation during the day is bad. On the program Volleyball is 2 times a day. No staff is comming. Nothing. Also football. No staff. I don‘t know why not. The food must be improved

The hotel infrastructure is great, the entertainment is awesome, the resort team makes an outstanding job with both adults and kids, the cleanliness is good but the food is away below expectation. The menu is simple and repetitive. The hot food is usually warm at maximum but most of the time cold. The snacks served at the bars they are miles away from a resort level not to mention that they are practically cold. I have to say that the pizzas are usually great, well done and well served. The drinks are good are have a reasonable variety. Really, the only point, and to be honest, the most important as we are talking about an All Inclusive Resort, is the food. It lacks diversification, creativity, taste, flavor and care on the presentation. You deserve a 5 start but unfortunately due to the food I cannot give that score. I hope you consider my feedback to improve your resort.
