Good location

Unit size was enough for two. Bath room and Batth Tab size was large. There was a delicious and reasonable Sushi restaurant near this resourt. Even though we cant go abroad, We enjoyed Karuizawa very much. I'd like to go there near future. Unit size was enough for two. Bath room and Batth Tab size was large. An enjoyable trip in Karuizawa

Staying at Sundance Resort Karuizawa is a great experience. It is not a big resort with only 10 rooms, yet the hotel room is very spacious, being small is good as it makes one feel like being home. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Free coffee is offered at the reception which makes the cold days bearable and enjoyable. In general we enjoyed our stay in this hotel very much. Most important of all, it is conveniently located as it is close to the Prince Shopping Plaza ( a good outlet) and Karuizawa Station which makes shopping and going out to other places in Nagano easy. Restful place to be

Staff are not fluent in English, however, they do make up for helpfulness and resourcefulness. Our room is spacious and very clean. The view from our window are beautiful and the breeze blowing in invites you to relax and read. If you are looking for a place to de-stress and recharge, this is the best place to be. Quiet and relaxing. Staff are not fluent in English, however, they do make up for helpfulness and resourcefulness. Our room is spacious and very clean. RURAL JAPAN

Was situated in a quiet location. Large shopping centre near by. No night life. There was no english spoken at the resort by staff. Hotel was clean, amenities were provided. Reception and kitchen seemed to run by one staff member. Was situated in a quiet location. Large shopping centre near by. No night life. There was no english spoken at the resort by staff. Sundance is excellent

This resort is in a great location: just a short taxi ride from Karuizawa train station, and for daily commute, the free bikes from the resort were our daily enjoyment. The bikes let us explore Kara as well as just commute to the train station for the simple train trips to nearby towns. As well as the outlet stores by the station. The Sundance unit we stayed in was roomy and had all the amenities we needed in addition to the excellent toiletries etc. The microwave and fridge served well, and the wifi was excellent. The kind counter staff was attentive and we even bought very reasonably priced souvenirs from the lobby store (beautifully packaged biscuits, etc). I cant say enough about the freedom we felt using the Resort bikes to commute into town. That shortened all our walking, and we saw more local sights because of it. The wonderful thing is that all the roads have bike paths and lanes, and it is easy to ride. Even for a not so young fellow with arthritic feet -- I just loved using the commute bikes.
