Amazing service, they made our trip memorable. Highly dignified staffs. Anaikatti Nice place to stay

Nice location . Improvements needed in reception and restaurant. For Check in they take more time. Restaurant food expensive and also not tasty. We had food outside only. There is a small mess run by a family next to exit gate. Idly and kaldosa was very good. Nice location . Improvements needed in reception and restaurant. For Check in they take more time. In nature's lap...a resort with flowing, generous hospitality

If you want to rediscover nature’s forces in all its splendor, and have the comfort of lazing in bed or around the balcony with warm filter coffee and book in hand as the rains drum down, Sterling Anaikatti is the place to be. Here, the sun dances on the Siruvani river that hurriedly gurgles past the location to meet her sister Bhavani a short distance away. Yellow-green bamboo groves shimmer in the light, straight shooting palms and bendy coconut trees sway in the tropical wind. Your ears fill with dulcet tunes. Three days at this place transported us to a world far away from the make-believe one of computer and phone screens we constantly live in. Be prepared for a looong hangover :) At the resort, warm hospitality flowed just as generously as the Siruvani, from the entire Sterling team – Shana, the soft-spoken, kind, holidays activities-in-charge knows his bee-eaters from barbets :). An avid birder, his enthusiasm and knowledge rubs off on you easily. This trip initiated me into birdwatching (warning, newbies: it will soon turn into an addiction) and I cannot thank Shana enough for that. As promised, on Day 2, he was ready at the gate at 6.40 am (!) and we set out to Vendavetti, a nearby hill where feathered friends abound. Shana knew the names of all the beautiful birds we spotted and patiently answered all my queries. Back in the resort, he had already thoughtfully sent me the list of birds we saw. I love his generous spirit. This is an activity no one should miss. On top, they provide you with an excellent of binoculars. Barun, the resort manager has an untiring energy and efficient-as-clockwork air about him that makes this place what it is. A great conversation-ist, at the same time sensitive, he took a keen interest in our goings and comings, always enquiring if we needed anything and ensuring we got the best. I always saw Barun, the attentive restaurant-in-charge Biswa, and eager-to-help Shankar going out of their way to see to it that guests of all kinds got what they wanted outside of the already sumptuous buffet spread. I can never forget the heavenly Malabar prawns curry they ensured was made just the way I wanted it and on time for lunch on Sunday – despite having so many guests to attend to. You have to try this dish – it will send you straight to heaven! A warm note of appreciation to their hugely talented chef (the one from Ooty, please forgive me for not remembering his name)! That night we were so full, so ordered only plain vegetables and curd. Even for that, I got a call back from the restaurant to check if I wanted it ‘continental’ or ‘Chinese’ style. That’s the extent of their care. From the extremely polite young boys engaged in food delivery, to the housekeeping and employees I never got to see working inside the restaurant – I have nothing but great appreciation for this hardworking, industrious team. As one of the oldest members of Sterling, visiting a new location after years, I was so happy to find out that Sterling continues to give as much importance to one-on-one hospitality and care as they used to. The Anaikatti team is extra-special — a big kudos to you all and keep it up!!! That said, I felt there’s more Sterling can do to promote eco-tourism and I’m hoping to see more of that on my next trip. I would also request them to maintain a clean room for the drivers so they can stay comfortably at the resort…if anything, this was lacking when we went there. Some notes for co-travellers: 1. The rooms by the riverside are according to me, the best. Even better if you can get one of the first floor. 2. The tourism industry is limping back after the pandemic and you can see everyone working really hard to come back, trying so hard to please the guests. I think we guests could make some minor adjustments if some small things don’t go our way – less tantrums and more kindness – I think the staff deserves that in the least. 3. Unforgettable time spent with wonderful hospitality

We decided to go on a group trip to someplace after lockdown. Finally selected this sterling anaikatti. It was a wise decision with the help of sterling booking and planner team. We were 5 family, booked 6 rooms along with breakfast, lunch and dinner combo as I was advised. Again a wise advise by Subhra Banerjee. We started from Chennai and took a flight to Coimbatore and we booked a tempo traveller from Coimbatore to Anaikatti and kept the tempo for our entire stay, it was also a wise decision. Before reaching we talked to resort manager Mr Barun Nayak and requested to allocate us room together, we are grateful to him for the rooms he provided us, it was the main reason of our trip was so successful. We had enough space and arrangements to seat entire team together and enjoy till we get tired and sleep on the chair itself We decided to go on a group trip to someplace after lockdown.
