Don’t let pictures fool you

I chose this hotel because it looked pretty good in the pictures and reviews were positive. We arrived about 11:30 pm so we couldn’t see much of the property. The rooms are dated, need paint and improvements. We only needed to spend one night prior to our actual accommodations being available, thankfully. Property is on the beach. However, swimming not advised due to rip currents and rough surf. I didn’t see any lounge chairs on the beach even if you wanted to just lay there. Quite a bit of sargassum (seaweed) on beach and didn’t appear management made any efforts to clean it up. Grass in some areas around one of the pools was at least 12 inches high and needed to be cut. Property didn’t appear to be heavily occupied even tho’ when I booked, travel company claimed only two rooms left. It has a teppanyaki restaurant on site and a coffee/ breakfast place (Rituals) next door. IMO, don’t make this your first choice. Great

Very relaxing and quiet. Great scenery.Within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The staff were very friendly helping us arrange taxis. The assistant manager Mr Singh particularly so. Have stayed there before and will go back. A choice of beaches within walking distance though it's not advisable to swim on the Atlantic side of the island due to the currents. Excellent Service Front Staff & the Hotel Manager

The Full team of Sugar Bay Club is great. They are professional, Courteous , concerned about your needs & caring. ISLAR & OPHELIA the front desk staff are great.They have a great Smile & are always welcoming. You feel your back home. I often travel for work & stay at Sugar Bay. Even the Hotel Manager Mr. Narendra singh is great & takes personal care of everything a guest needs. I would give Five star ratings . The Full team of Sugar Bay Club is great. Excellent service staff from the front desk to the gardening and service personnel.

My location was a two bedroom apartment 50 feet from the Atlantic ocean. The facility has two swimming pools with an excellent grocery store on the property and five minutes from the STRIP on the ocean that has endless entertainment, beach volleyball and good restaurants. Sugar Bay Club is the best value in Frigate Bay. My location was a two bedroom apartment 50 feet from the Atlantic ocean.
