Awesome resort

BG owners since 2006, first time at this resort. Had a 2 bedroom lockoff. The rooms were excellet, clean, ready on time looked like a new condo. Staff were excellent and very clean. Did have an owner update during our stay, Tyler & Robin were great, no high pressure sales, yet answered all our questions. Washers and dryers available on 2nd & 4th floors. Again, very clean. Rooms are hugs and very comfortable. Only concern had a lot of ice in our parking area that was treated, but did very little to remove? Would definitely recommend and stay again. Unacceptable room condition and response from maintenance.

We came up to this location for a family thanksgiving. We got 4 rooms. One was a lockout. In the lockout the alarm went off at 2am. Upon further inspection it was because it was short circuited because of water coming though the ceiling. Water was coming through the ceiling in 4 different spots. When front desk was called they brought down towels and WE had to clean it up. They did nothing. They didn’t move us, they didn’t do anything….oh wait…they disconnected the fire alarm…that was it. When we turned on one of the lights (where water was coming though) it wouldn’t turn on and water kept leaking out of it. We couldn’t use multiple areas because of the water. Now mind you…we were supposed to be having Thanksgiving there, which we couldn’t do. Fast forward a little over 15hrs and I hear dripping coming from another spot. Water was leaking through a whole new are on the ceiling in the bathroom this time. The ceiling paint is chunking off. I called front desk and she told me that she was the only one there and maintenance leaves at 5 but she would see if they could come in. I called back a few minutes later and she said maintenance wasn’t going to come in and they would come take a look in the morning. Ummmm what??? This is completely UNACCEPTABLE and terrible customer service. The lady at the front desk said she could bring us buckets and towels but she can’t do anything else. The fire alarm is still discontented which is a HUGE safety concern on top of the water on the floor which we’ve been trying to keep cleaned up, but what if someone slips on the water??? Good location for hiking.

This resort is close to many beautiful yet easy hiking trails. We are seniors and were able to find interesting trails for the 5 days we were there. The negative part is that there is no oven, just an electric cook top. The cook top is not very efficient. Oil split everywhere during frying. Other than that, the kitchen is quite equipped. The dining area is on the extension of the cooking area. It was very inconvenient. This resort is close to many beautiful yet easy hiking trails. Wonderful location

The two bedroom suite at South Mountain was spacious, immaculate, and well appointed. The staff was friendly and the location was central to all of Lincoln's attractions. Enjoyed the heated pool and hot tub. Try La Vista Italian Restaurant and the Seven Birches wine tasting in the neighboring River Walk Resort. The Flume is only seven miles away--non strenuous 2 mile hike with gorgeous fall views. Plenty of hiking in the area. Take a day trip over to North Conway along the Kancamagus Highway for more spectacular fall views and to visit the outlet shops. Plenty to do in a great place to stay! Perfect Fall Week in New England

Take advantage of everything the area has to offer within reasonable driving distance. We loved going in and out of the Franconia Notch even if it was to drive through to get to other places like Stowe VT. There are also several Craft Breweries in VT that are worth the trip including Idletyme, Lawsons Finest Liquids and The Alchemist Take advantage of everything the area has to offer within reasonable driving distance.
