More like dirty nasty motel

First room they tried to put us in was nasty. Dirty unclean window overlooking a alleyway and back of a older looking motel, rugs that they should of been replaced years ago and broken handle on dresser. Second room alittle better, but.... furniture looks like second hand from Goodwill. Bathroom with broken window and what looks like black mold on sill. Oh, and wonderful mirror on sliding bathroom door facing you sitting on the toilet. Cannot believe it is a Wyndham property, more like a very rundown Motel 6. Glad we only stayed 2 nights. Sad it's in a nice area. Wyndham should tear it down and replace with a nicer place. Oh, and forget a nice (long)walk to beach, unless you what to pay a $25 fee to enjoy it. Wow, what a joke. Becket Lake Tahoe

Enjoyed the hotel and the central location to all the restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great time using the hotels location as a base to venture out to explore all the beaches and hiking spots that Tahoe Lake as to offer. Enjoyed the hotel and the central location to all the restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful. Quality Room, Great Location, and Helpful Staff

We stayed for part of our vacation to Lake Tahoe in August 2021. The room, space, and location are great. There's plenty of parking, local food and entertainment, and the hotel staff were fantastic. The standing shower in our room was a bit tight, but otherwise we enjoyed our stay. We would certainly return during our next visit to the area. Overpriced and not as pictured

Believe the reviews. A horribly dated hotel that’s completely overpriced. We had family staying at the Grand Residence but could get a room during our travel dates. Booked at Hotel Beckett for the proximity to our family, what could be wrong? Well, pretty much everything. 1. Dated. Don’t believe the property-supplied photos. Not representative of the room or hotel lobby. Sad, dead plants in planters stored under the exterior stairs - we passed every day. 2. Dirty. Hair in the drawers and window ledge. Stain on the Roman shade that was broken and did not gather properly when raised. Lifted the Kleenex box and a brown liquid was underneath 3. Weird renovation. While it appeared there were attempts at updating done, it was cheap and not well thought out. Shower was tiny. I’m 5’4”, normal weight and I felt like I could barely turn around in the shower. So much dead space around the shower you wonder why it wasn’t made larger. Same for the vanity and “closet”. A weird dead/unusable space to the left of the sink, and near what was supposedly the closet. Closet was a bar over the safe. Not enough clearance to hang a midi dress. No hangers provided. Had to call to the front desk. All they could find were 3. 4. “Resort fee” gets you a common area with a dumb gas grill, one or two pieces of patio furniture and a big connect 4 game. Pool? We couldn’t see it or understand how to get to it. 5. For the little bit we watched of TV, the screen would pixelate. The flashing light on the phone couldn’t be turned off because, according to the front desk, it was broken and no one knew how to fix it. 6. Front desk staff. The night before our check out, I asked the front desk if we could grab our “grab and go” breakfast by 6 when we were leaving for our last hike. I was told yes. At 6 the next morning, the lobby was dark and no one answered the phone. As I was looking through the lobby doors, I didn’t realize the wine smoking her cigarette and looking at her phone is hotel staff. When I asked if I needed something, I explained what I was told the previous evening. Her response wasn’t consistent w/ what I was told but I was given a “I suppose you can get the leftover ones still there.” She gave her cigarette and phone more service than her guests. Could be better

Needs updating. Everything felt dirty. Black mold on the bathroom and the sink was all warped. Paint looked liked it was melting off the bathroom wall. Window would barely open. Shower clogged. Looked like a fire took place on the outside of our room. Cable didn’t work the first day. Needs updating. Everything felt dirty. Black mold on the bathroom and the sink was all warped.
