Probably this worst MOTEL

Booked just one night here, fortunately. What a disgusting MOTEL! This is not an inn. If you enjoy sleeping nestled inside a dirty jockstrap you’ll love it here. When we walked into the room it smelled like that tshirt you forgot for a week at the bottom of the washer. Never, ever book here. Booked just one night here, fortunately. What a disgusting MOTEL! AWESOME

The room, pool, grounds were all very clean, well maintained. Just about everything seemed to have fresh paint. The floor of our room was very clean and free of sand, unusual for a room near a beach, The lighting in the bathroom was the brightest I have ever experienced in a hotel restroom. The Matanzas restaurant is excellent. We have dined their for many years and always had excellent experience, excellent food and service. I highly recommend the SHRIMP BURGER Blackened. It is a one of kind sandwich. The pizza at the UPPER DECK restaurant is excellent also and the atmosphere and view are very fun and enjoyable. Their are many shops, restaurants, 7/11 and beach less than a 10 minute walk away. We spent almost 6 days there and seldom used our car. Great relaxing getaway

Great location, close to beach and restaurants but nice and quiet. Sat on balcony in evenings and listen to music from Pete’s Upper Deck. We Saw dolphins in canal. Enjoyed pool after a day at the beach. Rooms were clean and simple. Staff was very nice and helpful. Will definitely be back and hopefully in the fall. Very nice little cozy place

We stayed one night here before heading to the Lani Kai for the remainder of the week. Very nice, clean and super friendly staff. Awesome location right on the main pass and a channel runs down the side by the pool and hot tub, which was also very clean and well kept. Very nice restaurant and a bar on the upper deck. Good food and good prices. Perfect spot for a low key vacation away from the “party scene”. We will be back!! We stayed one night here before heading to the Lani Kai for the remainder of the week. Love Matanzas Inn!!

I have had a wonderful stay at Matanzas Inn. The rooms are very clean and comfortable! I would absolutely stay here again and will make a point to when I come back to Fort Myers Beach. Kim helped me at the front desk and she was absolutely wonderful! It was a pleasure having her help me throughout my stay. I am already looking forward to my next stay here. I have had a wonderful stay at Matanzas Inn. The rooms are very clean and comfortable! I would absolutely stay here again and will make a point to when I come back to Fort Myers Beach. Kim helped me at the front desk and she was absolutely wonderful! It was a pleasure having her help me throughout my stay. I am already looking forward to my next stay here.
