great few days away

wonderful setting for the cabins. We had a great stay here for a few days last month. Beautiful cabins only thing missing was the log fire. It was cosy at all times but missed the burning logs. Lovely Suite in a perfect location

We had a 4 night stay here and loved it. The suite was amazing, big living area / kitchen and bedroom and well featured bathroom. The view was also great. It's a 15 minute or so walk into Ballater, where there are plenty of good places to visit and nice bars and restaurants. Our only gripe was the main restaurant was closed and the only breakfast options were to pre-order a packed breakfast for or room. We just walked into town for breakfast most days, or made our own in the room. it's a lovely spot to visit, i'd recommend it for sure We had a 4 night stay here and loved it. A lovely stay, can't wait to go back!

A lovely stay for our second wedding anniversary (we were gifted some cake and a card to celebrate - a lovely and much appreciated touch). Our suite was lovely, clean and spacious. The hotel had excellent facilities such as the pool and lounge - staff clearly explained how to access and book, as well as offered help with anything. Suite was well equipped. Very clear safety procedures in place in line with Covid, partner and I felt safe. Staff even helped with navigating the local area providing maps and materials. The local town of Ballater was so quaint and scenic, lots of shops and restaurants if you choose not to eat at the hotel or when the brasserie was closed. Staff were very attentive and helpful and really enhanced the overall experience, can't wait to go back. We sincerely hope the staff and hotel are ok. Our stay ended the Friday morning just before Storm Arwen arrived. Genuinely felt for the staff with having to prepare and deal with such a bad storm with so little notice. Not had one quite like it since the great storm of 1987 - a rare red warning by the Met Office. We stayed in another Hilton (Doubletree) in Newcastle on our route home and even that suffered terrible damage so I can only imagine how badly the storm was felt here. Even with the impending storm, staff were helpful and attentive on check out as well as onward journey guidance. Our Highlands Adventure

This was our 1st visit to the Highlands and what an experience. The hotel overlooks the Balmoral Estate and is within easy walking distance of Ballater. Our suite was spacious and comfortable with every need catered for superbly. The staff were all extremely welcoming, helpful and friendly. Special mention to Suzy in the bar/restaurant, she was constantly on the go and was very efficient. I would have no hesitation in returning to this hotel, perfect for a stress-free, relaxing stay. Perfect Highlands stay

This is the best resort in Scotland in my opinion. Everything is catered for. Craigendarroch offers everything that the traveller would want. The units are scrupulously clean, and welcoming. The food in the kieller lounge is delicious. Perfect stay ! This is the best resort in Scotland in my opinion. Everything is catered for.
