This hotel deceived us, took our money through booking.com while Chile is in the state of catastrophe. They do not answer to emails, refuse to return money and behave absolutely dishonorably. Dirty disgusting apartments.

Firstly, no one at this place speaks a word of english. Tried three times, first upon arrival and twice during the first two days to pay for our stay. Each time was told by the men working the front desk that we pay at check out. Then on the fourth day we have a note slipped under our door telling us to pay immediately. When we did go and pay they took double the amount out of my account. The apartment itself was in a shocking state. Lights not working, cracked tiles, a crack in the glass balcony door, wall paper peeling off, holes in walls, electric wall sockets hanging out, no air conditioning and a nail sticking out in the doorway to the bedroom. The apartment upon arrival was filthy, crumbs under the couch from i assume the previous guests. The whole place was visually dusty and the bathroom was dirty. Bed sheets also did not smell or look clean and there was only 2 pillows on the bed, both of which belonged in the bin. To top it all off, the rooftop pool that was advertised was drained and out of use. Cleaners came around for the first time on the fourth day of our stay and when they did come they came at random times during the day like 8 in the morning or 4:30 in the afternoon. Location is central but not worth the amount of suspicious men and homeless people that hang around in the entrance and surrounding area. Two weeks prior to our arrival we changed our booking to (regrettably) stay an extra 3 nights, this was confirmed through the booking website but not by the apartments. So on the day we would have originally checked out on, they deadlocked us out of a room (which our belongings where still in) and where told we had to check out. We continuously showed them our booking confirmation, but they would not accept it and would not take responsibility for their mistake. So then we had to pay extra to stay the 3 nights we had already booked for. Photos of these apartments are clearly outdated and this place is a total scam. my worst night in santiago

Comfortable and Quiet on the 12th Floor

We spent a comfortable week in their 12th floor apartment. The apartment has a separate sleeping and sitting room which is ideal for us. There was a cd player in the sitting room where I could listen to my newly purchased Chilean jazz cds and a television in the bedroom for catching up on the news as it had a couple English language stations. The only drawback was that the small kitchen had absolutely no utensils, as if they didn't really want you to use it - there wasn't even a corkscrew or an egg lifter!
