Restaurant Review Only

Our tour stopped here for lunch before going into the city center of San Miguel de Allende as it was prearranged. Why ???? is the thing I could not understand. Altho the hotel grounds looked nice it wasn't anywhere near being in the center of anything. Our group was seated at a long table and we were the only ones there. The food was prearranged as well so it consisted of a mediocre soup with bread, a bland tasteless dry flat chicken breast with plain rice and I gave up before the dessert. I have always felt there's no reason for bad food in Mexico, but this was the 3rd experience I had on this tour when the meal was included it was bland crap. It would have been better not to have had the lunch included and we could have just proceeded into the city center and had our choice of where to eat. This place left a bad taste in my mouth even before I truly saw San Miguel de Allende. Hey tour company....why are you making the deal with this hotel for this meal. Time for you to rethink this! And altho this is a tour complaint it also is a bad review for the restaurant now too. Nice hotel with lovely facilities

When a hotel has a pool, mini golf course, big rooms, is clean and has a big shower, it is a shame to be disappointed with it. It is the location. It was an uphill hike from the historic centre of San Miguel....or a taxi ride. There aren’t many restaurants or facilities around it. Since it wasn’t at the Center of San Miguel, I figured it would be quiet. But I could hear trucks on the highway, people walking by my room, and I think two rooms share a vent or something in bathroom? As I heard noises from next door. But if you are happy to take a taxi, then the amenities would be worth it. And there are likely rooms not right next to pool that are quieter. If I travelled here again, I’d likely try to be in historic Center as I’d prefer that to amenities. Quaint hotel

I spent one night here, it was nice. The only issue was that the door to the adjoining room was like an amplifier. The folks that care in late were loud and did wake me. Buț after the inițial jolt, I never heard them again. (I don’t know if they changed rooms.) The other negative was that there was not a safe in the room. I was told that the front desk would keep my “valuables”. I did feel safe, the grounds and room itself were clean and immaculate. The car park is across the street, and a gentleman was guarding the parking area. I did have some Quesadillas from the restaurant, and they were tasty. Hotel very good to relax

Very good services , Big confortable rooms, good bathroons. Nice swiming pool. The Hotel Restaurant is very good with tipycal Mexican food. It is located very close to a great Shopping Mall of San Miguel! Interesting to know stories about Cantinflas ( old movies artist) and this Hotel. There are so many Picture and scultures regarding Cantinflas! Very good services , Big confortable rooms, good bathroons. Nice swiming pool. The Hotel Restaurant is very good with tipycal Mexican food. It is located very close to a great Shopping Mall of San Miguel! WARNING !!! PLEASE READ !!!

I stayed there and my car got broken into and robbed in their private parking lot, no one wanted to be held responsible, there was no one to help me or my family, no manager nor anybody, they didn't want to show us the video of their cctv, gave us fake phone numbers of the manager, someone called "Maria Elena" (whitch i doubt is real). Went to the police and filed a report and there has been no follow up from anybody, i lost about 30,000 pesos (1,600 USD) in one night for staying in their crappy hotel. Also, is the farthest hotel from the city downtown (Where the fun is), the pool is super cold and has the worst bar i've ever been to. DO NOT STAY THERE !!! you have been warned.
