Впервые на тихоокеанском побережье
Бронировали номера с боковым видом на океан, были в конце октября 2018 г. Номера и размещение понравилось, к уборке номеров претензий не было, убирали быстро и хорошо. Оставляли чаевые. Питание было хорошее, иногда медленно убирали столы, но быстро исправляли ситуацию. Режим питания все включено, поэтому для нас вопрос с питанием не стоял, каждый мог найти то, чему отдавал предпочтения. Фрукты и свежие соки, иногда фрукты были не совсем спелые. На территории есть кофе и бары, можно провести время и там, принимая напитки или закуски. Во время нашего отдыха проходил шторм Вилла, два дня был сильный дождь, купаться в океане нельзя было. Но обслуживающий персонал справлялся с водой и ветром, можно было прогуливаться внутри галерей гостиницы. Обращает внимание интересное расположение гостиницы в виде террасы, отличный вид открывается на океан и рядом расположенную местность. Были нарекания к бару, где проходили обеды, там плохо убирались и сервировали столы, и зону с готовой едой. Было грязновато к середине дня. В бассейне не плавали, т.к. очень сильно нагревалась вода, такая не для нас. В океане купаться периодически ограничивали, особенно из-за утреннего отлива. Вода в океане очень приятная для плавания. Чистая и прозрачная. Были хорошие волны. Из-за выраженного периода отлива-прилива, утром линия пляжа очень узкая, но после 12.00 часов можно ставить лежаки на пляже. Песок темный, вулканический, но несильно нагревался. Местами океан выбрасывал камни, интересные по форме, размерам и расцветкам. Вечером линия пляжа очень широкая и красивая, можно погулять по заливу. В целом место очень понравилось. Персонал отзывчивый и всячески готовый на помощь. Back for another round in Playa Mita
We returned here after 3 years. It is not what it once was but we still enjoyed ourselves. Maintenance and cleanliness stand out. Our room was fine and always kept clean but around the resort is very noticeable. The little trash cans by the pool palapas was only emptied once where we sat during our week. Garbage on the ground along the walkways was there our entire stay. The missing pool tiles have been mentioned frequently. Astounding they didn't take time during the height of covid to fix them. It is quite noticeable how many are gone. The pool now looks like what you'd expect to find at a 40 year old Howard Johnsons Motor Lodge. The last time they would come around with fresh towels at the pool. That's gone. Turn down service is gone. The staff are still friendly as ever and they themselves do their jobs well. The negatives did not outweigh the positives as we do like this place so I did give it 4 stars, barely. We returned here after 3 years. It is not what it once was but we still enjoyed ourselves. Best staff ever
The staff at Iberostar are some of the best!! They go out of there way to make sure you are having a amazing time. They memorize what you like and give amazing recommendations based on what you have been doing or asking for. Elliott was one of the best workers that helped me in the pool area he is a very nice person and always lets you know what fun activity’s that have going on at the resort. Muchas gracias a todos. Meh resort on a great beach
Secluded, clean beach with great waves and minimal interruptions from beach vendors. Unfortunately the resort itself did little to add to the ambiance. The beach chairs were hapazardly strewn about the beach and quite tattered. The nearest bar was off the beach and service was infrequent. The rooms need a major face lift and the common areas were unkept. Floor stains noticed on day 1 were still present when we left at the end of the week. Drinks were weak but the buffet food was great, especially breakfast. The Japanese restaurant was the best specialty restaurant. Avoid the Grill Secluded, clean beach with great waves and minimal interruptions from beach vendors. Unfortunately the resort itself did little to add to the ambiance. Needs a room update, but has a gorgeous beach
The rooms were very dated and the mattresses were lumpy with springs bonging. The only two speciality restaurants worth visiting were the Japanese(one of the best I've been to at an iberostar and the Mexican. The Steak house was beyond gross for either totally undercooked or way overcooked. the sides at the Steak house were cold and served in tiny bowls they said that were to be shared. The French food was just weird and small amts. The lobster Thermador had to be wrestled out of the shell . Only good thing there was the salmon. The drinks seemed really watered down. My daughter drank all day and didn't even feel a nice buzz. Seating ion the buffet was even strange as we walked in and when we said 8 ,they wanted only to give me a table for 4 as we were not all there. The place was empty!!!! Who cared!!. The pool has alot of missing ceramic squares on the bottom but the water felt nice and otherwise the pool area was clean. The first 3 days we put out our stuff at 8 and went to breakfast and no one minded. Day 4 ,they took all our stuff off the chairs and said the rule was not til 9 could you put your stuff out. News to us after 3 days the other way. The people , esp. the bellhop service were very nice. Most of the wait staff didn't speak the best English and orders and drinks were often mixed up or never gotten. All in all. a disappointing experience. Being a Club Member means being a part of the Iberostar family
My husband and I stayed at the end of October to celebrate his 40th birthday. This is our 5th visit to this property, and this visit cemented its status as our go-to Iberostar base where we will go most often. As Double Black members we enjoy many perks, like private airport pickup, daily massages, private rooftop, access to spa wet areas, priority reservations and more. We really enjoy all the perks, but it is the people that make this experience so personal and unforgettable. We want to thank Carlos, one of the hotel's managers, for his kindness and for spending time with us. The bar team: Luis, Emmanuel, Mario were amazing, especially Emmanuel who introduced us to many new spirits and cocktails! After getting to know Armando, the bar manager, we know why. He is so customer-focused and trains his team well. Tania from the coffee shop works so hard, we appreciated her popping into the Club lounge to check in on us and prioritize making our coffee drinks ahead of the general line. This time we met a new concierge Emmanuel, who subs in for the Club sometimes. I got a little sick, and he went above and beyond to get me a specially made chicken soup. I was so touched and grateful for his care. If there is an opportunity, I hope he can join the Club team permanently. We also reconnected with our favorite Club concierge Mildred and her team Candy and Hugo. No other Iberostar property has a better concierge than Mildred! She is poised, kind, generous, but she has an eagle eye for details and customer service. Everything is done with a smile, she remembers all of our quirks and preferences, and we can trust her completely. We also want to acknowledge other services. Food was so good, thank you for adding new items to every restaurant. Buffet was very good! Covid protocols followed everywhere. The resort is working towards a smoke-free certification. And the most impressive initiative is eliminating single-use plastics from everywhere in the hotel. We learned about other waste reduction initiatives, hand sorting and recycling efforts that happen behind the scenes that we don't see, but that have a huge positive impact on the environment. I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you so much, Iberostar team for making this such an amazing experience for us again! See you again next year!
