Unscrupulous owners of 237

Watch out for unscrupulous owners. Had a fully paid for rental since April and 3 weeks before stay was to start, was informed that condo no longer available. It had sold (unit 237) in September and new owners pulled it out of rental pool but I wasn’t told until it’s too late to get anything comparable in the whole area. If they’d told me in October I still could have found a substitute. So now all the arrangements are non refundable and it’s a total disaster. Watch out for unscrupulous owners. 2nd Visit Just as Nice

Stayed in #205 a 2 bed/bath upstairs unit for 2 weeks. Nicely furnished with all amenities. Great to be able to walk to the pool. Peekaboo view of Ocean. But very warm! They do provide an air conditioner, but we found that leaving the doors and windows open and using the fans kept us cooler. Would probably request downstairs unit next time. Love the pool! Don’t stay in Unit 113 (GO TO UNIT 151)

Do NOT stay in this unit! When we first arrived they put us in different unit and all of the furniture had some kind of pet hair on it. Then they put us into this unit (which they gave us a hard time about). And when we got into this new unit it was obviously dirty and all of the surfaces were sticky to the touch. I’d say the worst part was that were problems with the hot water. There were 4 of us (1 of them being a 6 month old). There would only be enough hot water for one person to take a semi hot shower and then there would be no more hot water all day. Not to mention the showers took 15-20 minutes to drain because the drains were clogged. Also the toilets had to flushed multiple times because there was barely any water pressure going to the toilets all throughout the unit. My other family members got another unit on the opposite side of the property and that unit was BEAUTIFUL!! I’m pretty sure it was unit 151, it was amazing inside and out! Stay in THAT unit if you stay here!! That beautiful Unit was $600 for 3 NIGHTS and our crappy unit was $900 for 3 nights. It wouldn’t have been as terrible if our unit was cheaper, but the fact that ours was in this condition and cost more is what really rubbed the salt in the wound. Do NOT stay in this unit! Beautiful quiet and peaceful

2 bedroom, 2 bath, #137, awesome accommodation in paradise!! All the comforts of home, in the middle of nature. The beaches were virtually empty, listening to the waves crashing on the beach, what an awesome sight. James was quick to respond to any questions or requests. An easy drive to the airport and to the towns of Maunaloa and Kaunakakai. 2 bedroom, 2 bath, #137, awesome accommodation in paradise!! All the comforts of home, in the middle of nature. The beaches were virtually empty, listening to the waves crashing on the beach, what an awesome sight. James was quick to respond to any questions or requests. An easy drive to the airport and to the towns of Maunaloa and Kaunakakai.

Just WOW!

I wasn't sure what to expect from a condo timeshare on Molokai. I know these things can run the gambit from amazing to abysmal. The most recent reviews were AT LEAST a year old. This place is amazing! We met resident owners at the pool who touted the resort as the best on the island. I took all that with a grain of salt, but when the LOCALS echo the same opinions, and then you see the other locations, Ke Nani Kai is a true winner! Its a 45 minute drive (at 45 mph or less) to almost everything, but the pool, hot tub, and beaches are nothing short of amazing. It is not air conditioned, but not many places there are, so come prepared with plenty of ideas for keeping cool, but when we checked in they had a dozen fans blowing and making every effort to have the room comfortable when we arrived. We loved being greeted on the lanai every morning by the resident turkeys, peacocks, cardinals and mina birds. The best part of the trip? Before we arrived, the management called to make sure we had a car rental arranged and to alert us to the fact we needed to buy groceries near the airport because everything would be closed if we drove out to the resort first and we would be stuck without food or snacks for more than a day.
