Rooms are simple with some aging - service, location, view, pool deck and breakfast excellent

Stayed here 2 nights on a family trip and location was great due to family apartment 2 blocks distance. Loved sitting on deck with city activity, ocean breeze and pool. Craft shops and food nearby with ocean/beach across the street. I would stay again giving this 3.5 stars. too expensive for 2 stars

The hotel has a good view of the beach and the location is good, there is a nice elevator with beach view, good neighbourhood to walk close to the beach and restaurants, the staff is nice and the lobby is clean and nice. The bad things is that the hotel room looks poor, not american standart, only one double bed, furniture looks old and very used, air conditioning makes too much noise and not work good. The washroom was the worse part, they need to renew asap. There is not Wireless internet inside the room, only at the lobby that is fast and free, no flat TV, no iron in the room . I do not recomend this hotel because the room not looks like hotel but a old simple house and I do not recommend because is too expensive for 2 stars. Not quite the standard I expected

Got a special price for 1 week, through a group purchase site, and from the price I expected a much better quality hotel. Stayed in one of the best rooms, directly in front of the beach, just beside the elevator. First surprise was that the AC was missing the wind exit vanes, so was not able to direct the wind one way or the other. Second surprise was that the AC control stopped working altogether on the second day - called for maintenance and they told me it was working fine. So I just had to accept the temperature setting for the rest of my stay. The door had a large gap at the top (about 1 inch) so any noise of people leaving or taking the elevator came straight through, waking us up several times in the middle of the night. Add to this the fact the hotel receives a lot of package tour groups, who arrive or leave at 2 or 4 am or any other time during the day or night, and your rest is gone for good. The bedroom was large and the bed was fine, although the room really requires a refit (the hotel is over 20 years old and that shows...). The bathroom was OK, though once again, in need of a refit. The TV is cathode ray tube, I would expect an LCD TV in a hotel this price. Breakfast was OK, but quite simple. There are definitely better hotels in Maceió.
