Relaxing Time

We had a very nice and relaxing time. Going to the Outer Banks in November is nice but it does have its drawbacks. The good news is that there are no crowds. The bad news is that because of COVID and being the off-season, some restaurants were either closed for the season or had reduced hours. We enjoyed our stay at the Beachwoods. Even being in our fifties we enjoyed the indoor pool and the water slides. Our one-bedroom unit was spacious and clean. We did have an issue with two of the sinks being clogged and then the next day discovering the dish washer wasn’t draining either. Both times when we called it in, they had somebody out from the maintenance staff in less than 10 minutes (no joke!). I was impressed! Also, be advised the resort is behind the Walmart. I know that sounds a little funny but it is tucked back well behind it and it isn't an issue. Being on the first floor and being off-season, our unit was really quiet. I would suspect during the peak summer time we would hear more of our neighbors because it did seem the walls are a little thin. The only other issue (and it’s a small one) is that the check in process seems to take a lot of time. I think there has to be some opportunities to streamline it. Also keep in mind you will have to pay a resort fee which comes out to $204.82 for the week which is above your initial rental cost. We had a very nice and relaxing time. Outer Banks Fun

Very nice and fun resort. The water activities were great for all ages and especially the children. There were many activities for children even with poor weather. Units well maintained. The layout of unit was unique and fit out needs well. Very nice and fun resort. The water activities were great for all ages and especially the children. Nice resort great location

Unit was in great shape, better than expected. Location is ideal to relax and close to local attractions. Maybe the best maintained resort we have visited. Some confusing regarding daily use fees but that was resolved. Unit was in great shape, better than expected. Location is ideal to relax and close to local attractions. Excellent place to stay, in Kitty Hawk

Unit is clean, secluded location, yet, close to beach with free parking at the beach. We really enjoyed using the amenities (fitness room, indoor pool). Pool area is very kid-friendly too. Appliances and utensils were handy. Able to make our own fruit shakes in the morning. WiFi was great, as well! Unit is clean, secluded location, yet, close to beach with free parking at the beach. No beach view, but great resort

The resort is a great place to stay. Had a one bedroom unit. It is clean and has smart tvs with great wifi if you want to view movies. We towed our motorcycle and there was a dedicated place to leave the trailer. Loved that you had to have a key to get through the gate. The battery in our door lock went dead, and someone came to fix it in a reasonable time. And, they have dedicated parking at the beach. Don't have much to say about the amenities because we did not use any. Good water pressure in the shower and full size washer and dryer (shared with another unit) in the hallway, along with extra storage space. The resort is a great place to stay.
