Luxary в этой гостинице только название
Я не буду вас мучить отзывам, я просто покажу фото главного бассейна, что бы вы не ехали в эту помойку!! Сервис как к скоту! Грязь, полотенца по картам 1 на человека, алкоголь самый дешёвый, еду нужна вымаливать, интернет работает 2 дня в неделю! Не стоит расходывать свое время и деньги на перелёт, что бы там мучается!!!! Вечер в ресторане
Заказали этот ресторан, чтобы отметить день рождения. Это было просто ужасно, к нашему приходу ничего не было готово, вокруг полная антисанитария , жирные полы, по которым просто скользко идти!!! Грязные тарелки и скатерти..вообщем полный кошмар!! Еда пережаренная , так что ни этот ресторан , ни другие в этом отеле никому не посоветую посещать, если хотите сохранить своё здоровье. Достойный отель на Ямайке
В номере есть все.Персонал дружелюбный , отдельное спасибо ребятам и Наташе,анимация зажигательная.Общение только на английском языке будьте к этому готовы.Еда самая лучшая и оформлена на высоте.Из ресторанов понравились:главный ресторан( для взрослых), японский, бразильский и французский рестораны. Пляжей несколько можно выбрать,какой лучше нравится, а вот у бассейна лежаки нужно занимать заранее. Райский пляж
Самые приятные воспоминания от этого отеля. Восьмисот метровый очень красивый пляж, песок как мука. Бухта - волн нет. Просто рай на яву. Номер в колониальном стиле, очень колоритно. Великолепные рестораны, а их аж восемь, с изысканной кухней и услужливые официанты в смокингах и бабочках. Особенно понравился ресторан Don Pablo. Прекрасная живая музыка регги. Отличный спа центр. Съездили в дом - музей Боба Марли, в 38 км. Именно здесь можно забыть обо все проблемах, даже если они были. Очень понравилось. Самые приятные воспоминания от этого отеля. Не забываемая Ямайка
Супер страна, супер остров, супер отель! Люди, музыка и обслуживание - все классное. Все очень понравилось. Природа девственная, пляж отличный, мягкий белый песок. Bring your own face cloth!!
This was my third time there and still find it one of the best resorts i've ever stayed at. I was however very disappointed with the nightly shows. Lame and amateurish. Musical chairs?? Seriously?? These "shows" were for kids, not adults. Not entertaining whatsoever. Very few people showed up and left not long after they started, bored and laughing. The lack of and inconsistent Covid precautions were also an issue. The resort removed face cloths from the rooms yet I was greeted with a wet cool face cloth at restaurants? Why are there cloth napkins instead of paper (throw away) napkins? Makes no sense. There was no heads up to any of Covid precautions the resort implemented prior to arriving. Add it to your website so people can come prepared. I had to buy a face cloth for $8!!!! Put wash cloths back in rooms - it makes no sense that I can get a cool wash cloth when I check in but I cannot have one in my hotel room. Stop allowing guests to bring their reusable cups to the bar for refilling! If a guest at a restaurant cannot hand their plate back to a server in the buffet, why should a guest be able to hand back a used cup to be refilled? Refilling used cups is in complete violation of infection control protocols as cups/taps/equipment can be easily cross-contaminated. There was also pressure by some staff for big tips, probably because the resort was closed for over a year and they are trying to make up on lost revenue. I felt like I was an inconvenience to some. Lack of communication between the staff and guests seemed an issue as well. I had to find out about closed and relocated restaurants on my own, what excursions were offered, what room service had for a menu, the informational binder typically in rooms was also removed. Thanksgiving abroad
From the moment we arrived we were impressed. Killer views from the balcony, amazing food, met great new friends, had silly memorable moments. It took awhile to realize that the second visit was better than the first
I'm so happy I did not write this review immediately upon my return home as it would not have been favorable. Sometimes we get so caught up in the moment that we don't take the time to appreciate what is actually happening. This was our second visit to the property, our initial visit was in 2009 and the overall experience then was beyond terrible. We decided to give the property a second chance, however, our initial thoughts were flawed based on our many biases from our 2009 trip. We (group of 24) stayed eight days in October and the overall experience was awesome (I'm purposely choosing to focus on the positive). The rooms were large and clean. The options for dine-in meals were plentiful at the buffet, we did not visited any of specialty restaurants, note however, the available choices for room service was lacking and forget the mini-bar and in-room snacks, these were non-existing. The beach on the luxury side was good for sunbathing only. Most of the staff were courteous, however, their level of training, professionalism and customer service were definitely lacking as their first response to any question was always no and they were not vested in the process. No sense of being part of a team. There were a few diamonds amongst the staff and I would be amiss if I did not take the time to acknowledge them. First and foremost must be Ms. Alecia Dawson, assistant manager. Any issues that arose within her department (there were a few), she quickly jumped in and resolved. Her level of professionalism was at 100+ every time and she must be commended for her efforts. Denesha or was it Kenesha (I'm beating up myself as I did not take a photo of her name tag as I was convinced I would remember her name) our server at breakfast for most of our stay must be commended. We were given a section and each day, she would have it prepared in advance of our arrival. This preparation included, organizing the two table, having abundance of any must haves such as cut-up pepper, condense milk, mint tea, chopped up ginger, etc. Some would ask, why mention this? It is because outside of this setting, whenever, we requested any of these items, the first response from the staff was NO and only upon our insistence were we ever able to get them. Michael from the entertainment group, what can I say about him? He was always, friendly, courteous and entertaining. Other staff that deserves acknowledgment are Supervisors - Franz Johnson, Rayon Frazer and Kemesha; Hostesses - Conque and Tashell; Servers - Camarla, Karla Bucknor and Jodi-Ann Morgan; and the entire entertainment team as they kept us engaged. While I chose to minimize mentioning the negatives, my only additional comments are to senior management. Please "train, train, train and empower the staff. This will result in a sense of belonging and will improve how they react to guest! In closing, Manager Fredrick, told me to give him six months, return and I will see marked improvements where the services provided will be aligned with their name "Luxury". I had initially told him no, however, I'm seriously considering it! Did I mention that I gained 5lbs from eating too much!!!!! Awesome service!
This is a wonderful resort. The food is really excellent: i wanted that goat curry everyday! The beach is marvelous, the water is cristalline and Petegay and Zidane at Las Olas restaurant is very efficient, friendly and sweet! This is a wonderful resort. Diarrhea and vomiting from bahia principe.
I'm going to write two reviews for this hotel. This review speaks of the lack of follow through, scammer like behavior of management and how Afro-American guests should be aware of their treatment here. I ate at Los Solas restaurant and had some undercooked and tainted salmon. Although the host and manager of the restaurant was not to blame, I reported my ill feelings and the quality of the food to my server. It was about 2 days of diarrhea and vomiting later that I was called after nine while on the throne by a representative. I asked why it took days for someone to call and informed him that I answered the phone from the bathroom. I even had to stop to vomit as he spoke. I explained that I was a nurse and had medication that helped me break the fever and anti-diarrhea meds. He told me to check out at 2 instead so someone could speak to me. Today we went for breakfast and twice we were given dirty utensils to use. Although we pointed out the dirty utensils the server still brought another and walked away as I told her this too was not clean. I went to meet with Joden Bowen, deputy hotel manager, who only insisted that he cannot refund my two days of illness, nor can he offer anything because I leave today. He told me to send an email and someone would acknowledge its receipt so they can improve service. I believe they deliberately waited till the night before I left in order to not reimburse me. All he did was nod and told me if I were staying two more days then he could have offered me dinner. Why offer more food when that was the source of my issue? This is the second time I have stayed at bahia and emailed customer service about an issue to no avail. DO NOT LET YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY BE WASTED BY THIS PLACE. As a manager you do not dismiss complaints or pretend as if your hands are tied while looking down your nose at the injured party. I have seen many issues of prejudice toward minority guests a this hotel to include having to wait till others were served at the coconut bar although I was first. Then to be rudely asked "weh yuh want " ? Then have my drink slid across the counter toward me. I waited over 5 minutes while the bartender was using her phone, and she only started to serve because the Caucasian gentleman was her regular and put a tip on the bar before even ordering. We pay for all-inclusive but will be treated poorly if you don't tip everyone for everything. Please be cautious of this place. I witnessed comments made in regards to a guest with a broken foot who wanted a drink from the coconut bar. The beach personnel was kind enough to assist the lady but the bartender cursed and complained about serving the woman because there was no obvious tip offered. Management is fully aware but avoid addressing this declining service issues so I decided to share my experience so others can choose a better place to spend your money because if something occurs there is a possibility that you will be given the run around and asked to visit again.
