Worst timeshare unit evet

If you have an opportunity to stay at this place, DON'T, or at least avoid room 304! This is probably the worst timeshare exchange we have ever stayed at. It was dirty and had many things wrong with it inside the unit. The kitchen didn't have enough items to make cooking very easy. The knife supply consisted of eight steak knives, not one larger chef or butcher knife. I got scalded in the shower about five times during my stay. The bathrooms were both disgusting. Master bedroom bath had a board nailed to the ceiling to keep out the water that was dripping from above. it didn't work. It would allow all kinds of black crud to drip into the tub when the shower was being run in the room above. Had to scrub it out every time we took our showers. there was a black substance around the faucet that appeared to be mold. The tub faucet fixtures in the tub of the second bedroom were backwards. The refrigerator was missing the shelf on the bottom and one of the veggie drawers was busted. Most of the outlets only had one working plug. The outside deck light didn't work and there were a bunch of bare wires hanging out of the wall. There were dirty handprints all over the inside of the glass door and windows. I was afraid to even touch anything before I sprayed it and wiped it all down the place was so dirty. The sliding glass door lock was broken. The entry door frame on the outside was busted. there was also a large lump on the floor inside the entry door that made our door screech every time it was opened. We had contacted them and they sent maintenance the first night. He couldn't address any of the situations other than a light bulb that was blown out in the second bedroom. He said he would have the manager come in the morning from maintenance and possibly move us to another room. we never heard one other word from anybody the rest of the week. One of the worst experiences ever for a timeshare rental. My suggestion is that they bulldoze the place and rebuild it from scratch! Be Careful If You Are A Solo Woman Traveler

I recently stayed at the Bay Club Condo in Ocean City Maryland. I checked in on New Year's Eve (12/31/2020). My first night was okay (although, when I arrived to room 210, I stripped the bed and washed the sheets and noticed that there was a blood stain on my mattress and the mattress didn't have a mattress cover - however there wasn't a blood stain on the sheets, so I have to assume that the ones that were soiled were removed, but housekeeping didn't put a mattress cover on after they remade the bed). The next few nights were okay and I enjoyed the views of the bay, however on January 4th, someone opened my door while I was working at my computer. They didn't get into the room because I had the chain lock on the door but as a woman that was very scary. When I got up to check to see if someone was outside the door, I didn't see anyone but noticed that a member of the housekeeping team was leaving 209, so I am assuming that it was her. I reported the incident to the hosts via the Airbnb messaging portal and asked them to please remind the housekeeping staff that I still have a few days to go in my stay. The hosts apologized and told me that it will not happen again. This morning however (@ 9:30am 1/6/2021), I was awakened to loud banging, which I thought was someone in the condo next door doing maintenance, so I went back to sleep. I heard the banging again but it seemed distant to my room, so I ignored it. Then I heard the door being broken into. When I got up, I looked at the door and saw that the safety chain had been broken off and I could see that 2 men were standing outside, through the peephole. I asked them what was going on and they said that housekeeping had asked them to check to see if someone was in the room. I asked them how did it make sense to break through the chain lock on someone's door, to check to see if someone was in the room. (Obviously if the chain is on the door, someone is in the room because it's physically impossible to put a chain lock on the door from the outside). I was shaken up and scared, so I did not open the door but I asked again, how did it make sense to break through the door to check to see if someone was in there. I asked if I was going to be held responsible for the broken chain and the gentleman said that he would fix it. I then called the office and spoke with Amanda, who said that "she was very disappointed in what happened because (she) told housekeeping not to disturb the room." She said that she would let me speak to Troy, one of the hosts (and I guess one of the managers for the complex) however, when she transferred me to him, apparently she didn't tell him what happened. I was still shaken up and didn't feel like reiterating what just happened, so I asked him to talk to Amanda and then left a message through the AirBnB portal, to report the incident. I received a message saying that I could speak with Troy at 10:30am. I spoke with Troy and expressed that I was very shake up, especially as a female traveler. Troy said that he would give me a refund for part of my stay. I appreciate the refund but I am reporting this here because I feel that this is not a safe environment for travelers. How can their policy to check to see if anyone is in the room be to break through the chain lock? Also, the time that they burst through my door was not even check out time (although, I wasn't due to check out for another 2 DAYS). The incident happened at 9:30AM and their pages says that check out is at 11AM, so why would housekeeping so urgently need to see if someone was in the room at that time? I am so upset about this. I honestly hope nobody else ever experiences anything like this here again and this is a wake up call to the management. I was really enjoying the views by the bay and had just extended my stay from the 7th to the 8th the night before and then this happened and totally ruined everything. I had to hurry up and pack and find another place to go to continue my vacation. I wish I never came here. Also on a side note, the queen size mattress was hard as hell. I had to buy 2 mattress pads and use a comforter folded up to make it manageable. The plumbing also needs some help. The bathroom in the queen room had a low flow/pressure at the sink and the sink in the twin room had better water pressure but the toilet barely flushed. I toughed it out because the view of the bay was great and it took me a long time to find a place but again because of the break in, I regret even coming there. December in Ocean City, MD

I like going in December, I dont really care about the ocean. I go for peace and quiet, shopping in Delaware, going to the Winterfest and Christmas dinner at the hotel. No traffic, always a place to park especially on the boardwalk and many more vendors are opening up. I like going in December, I dont really care about the ocean. Location and view is good but amenities and features are bad

Here are the points: 1. Wifi signal is not good, not able to do any work. 2. Cable (DirectTV) is not working properly. All the channels are glitchy. 3. Please make sure indoor pool is open before you reserve. During our stay indoor pool was closed indefinitely. 4. Blanket/comforter is not clean as we saw dog hair. Here are the points: 1. AWFUL, Dirty, Disgusting place to stay! Don't go here

Resort in very bad shape. Front door doesn't lock when shut or have dead bolt. The bathroom tub is disgusting and tile fell from ceiling. Room stunk. Cushions on couch dirty or stained. Glass in cupboard had lipstick on it. Ball found under couch. No tv in one of the rooms. Many of the channels stated they were not provided and needed to be paid for. Pool had white stuff floating on top of it and perfume smell. Hot tub dirty and Luke warm. Was approached by a couple men when I took kids to pool to stay and keep me company. They were heavily drinking. Upstairs people partied real late last night keeping us up late screaming and yelling. We requested 1st floor and was told we received 1st floor but was given 3rd floor. Not to mention there was no one there when we got there we had to call to find out how to check in. First number listed is not number because they no longer manage this site.
