Excellent food and atmosphere. We Especially appreciated the excellent service. Ricardo Anzures is amazing at his job. An outstanding evening in an excellent week. Secrets resort in Huatulco is a good place to holiday

This is our second time to this resort, 8 years ago was our previous visit. With a ocean view from every room, the view is spectacular. We like this resort but this resort is starting to show its age, as an example, lots of missing tiles in the pools and in the rooms some of the plugs don’t work. Hopefully a makeover is in the future plans. Most of the food was good to very good, and at times excellent and at times poor. One disappointment is that at the la carte restaurants, the menus now are pretty limited, example most of the menus had only 3 entrees to select from (we hope this changes). The pools are amazing, many large pools. The chair service at the pools was great, special thanks to server RICARDO. Some of the bartenders tend to serve Mexican guests first even though they weren’t in queue first, it should be “first come first served”. Five Stars is NOT Enough!

Stunning Pacific Ocean, gorgeous beach, beautiful ocean view rooms, cruise worthy dining, exciting evening entertainment and best of all…. the kindest and most hard working staff ensuring your every need is met. TOTALLY AMAZING! Special thanks to all the staff including these individuals who went out of their way to deliver a perfect holiday: Ivonne, Roxana, Erik, Nataly, Eder, Felipe, Franklin, Karen, Alier, Carlos, Sarah, Angel, Edgar, Roxy, Maricel and the beach restaurant bartender who sings a great Baby Shark rendition. We will definitely return next year! Gorgeous ocean views on secluded bay.

This resort is a couples only all inclusive resort. It’s 10 years old and is currently at about 60-70% occupied. The resort is doing an excellent job with covid protocols and is very clean; the only thing I’d say is in the evening, there are groups gathering and not everyone is being careful regarding wearing masks or being socially distanced. The food is good - our favourite restaurants were Spice, Oceania and Bordeaux. The house wine is not great and I don’t want to go to an all-inclusive and pay for an upgrade. The staff is very accommodating and are friendly and helpful. The premium lounge is not very impressive however our room was on the 3rd floor which we loved and maybe this was part of our premium package. This resort is a couples only all inclusive resort. thrilled to finally be able to return

We were thrilled to finally be able to return to Huatulco. We have been returning to Huatulco since 2013 at least twice a year a few with three, and have already booked our next for February/March. Our stays are always at least two weeks, this trip was 4 weeks,(19 days at secrets and 11 days at a condo. We have travelled to many places throughout the Caribbean and Mexico but will always continue to return to Secrets Huatulco. Huatulco has come to be one of our favorite holiday destinations, with its Great weather, authentic feel and safety. Inexpensive taxi ride into the town of La Crucecita or Santa Cruz, for shopping ,restaurants, and general walking around is safe and genuine feel of the locals. The staff is so amazing and truly want to ensure you are enjoying your stay, we consider many of them friends after so many visits . Luis you have amazing team Concierge always wanting to make sure everything is good, all of you are amazing and make us feel so welcome. Rolando, Isabel, David, Hjoro We were very happy to see all the protocols regarding covid and cleanliness at all the restaurants and throughout the resort. All restaurant managers and servers ensuring everything is good. Eden, Nemorio, Ivonne so great to see you all again and ensuring all of our meals are good. Nathaly always a pleasure greeting us for breakfast and seeing you year after year. Mardeli ensuring my Cesar’s are made to perfection. Heriberto also ensured perfect drinks. Salvador, Sara, Evangelina Great service from all bringing us drinks to our swim out rooms, and all the great pool bar servers. Mardonio at the lobby bar ensuring I have my special drink. Dianiel so great to see you again. Leydi so glad to see you again, you have ensured our room is spotless and all we needs for all our visits, you do a fantastic job. Francisco and all the entertainment team your amazing and great to see you all again. Candy from Spa love our chats. It is obvious that all the staff is working very hard at the resort and very pleased that guests are returning. We were on the first flight to Huatulco since the pandemic and it was full flight with people wanting to return to this amazing area. Can’t wait to return in February.
