What a gem!

Spent 4 nights at the Empark Grand Hotel near NIngbo. What an opulent gem! Great rate (half what I paid in Shanghai), huge suite like room, breakfast with food stations from Japanese, Chinese, English, German, and American. The lobby is so big I could have ridden a bike in laps around inside and it is decorated in art and even has an art dealer inside. This is the first Chinese hotel I have been in that had a functioning ATM! They also have a couple restaurants and a bar in the hotel and an American style bar and grill across the street. There is a walking park with a culture garden across the street that was wonderful to take morning walks. Never judge a book by its cover!

If you’re just looking for a place to sleep hell yeah! This hotel is perfect! If you’re looking for a 5 star service and expecting the hotel to be as charming inside as it is outside well you’ll be disappointed! Super basic customer service! Can’t say poor but extremely basic for the price you pay! Very old and rusty! There’s a very strange pungent smell as you enter the elevator! Rooms are old, wood is scratched! Bathroom is old! Shower is broken! The bed is nice though! Overall, the price is not worth the place! The same price is a big city gets you better everything! Great hotel for the area

There aren't a lot of options in the area. This hotel has all the bling, but just a little rough around the edges. Breakfast is fantastic, and service works really hard to help, even when they don't speak English very well. There aren't a lot of options in the area. Good hotel

Booking this hotel being close to our Customer, I found very large rooms with a nice view, good breakfast and nice lobby. The only inconvenience it has been some issues with the credit card payment that after some discussions we made it working and the poor English of the staff. Overall good. Likely the worst minibar in the world

What is on the minibar list is not in the fridge. Instead you need to call room service who will bring a plastic bag with beers and put in the fridge. For this you have to pay room service price.
