Away from the congested city

For local traveler (residing in the Philippines) this is a good place specially if you had a service car. But for foreigner I understand their dilemma. They had a hard time to move around. Since I have my car I can go around anytime and can maximize my vacation. I can explore every place which seems interesting to visit and to see. That's why I enjoy every moment of my vacation. Not what you would expect from RCI

Expectation management – this resort is not what you would typically expect from RCI. From what I understand, the resort is located in the housing district of the former U.S. Naval base at Subic Bay. The U.S. Navy left Subic in 1992, which was also probably the last time that these housing units were maintained by a professional maintenance staff. The unit that I stayed in was dirty (very dirty), in desperate need of new paint/furnishings, and had exposed electrical lines running outside of uncovered electrical junction boxes. The resort staff was non-existent for the duration of my stay, so I was pretty much on my own to fix the problems in the unit. Also, the resort is not anywhere close to restaurants, shopping, or other activities – if you stay here, you must have a car to get around. On the positive side, my stay was quiet and peaceful. The unit that I stayed in backed to the rainforest, it was nice to see nature away from the hustle/bustle of the surrounding towns. Also, the monkeys that roamed the grounds were fun to watch – at a distance.If you plan to stay here, do not pay attention the map location provided by RCI. The latitude/longitude location of the resort is: 14.801205,120.318210. If you follow the map provided by RCI, you will be 12km away from the resort. TERRIBLE UNIT !

This is a disgustingly filthy sole unit in a residential compound, NOT A RESORT, absolutely no amenities, nothing to do there, no public transportation. There are open electric wires in the bathrooms and elsewhere, cockroaches and ants, thick grease and mold in the kitchen and bathrooms, torn and heavily stained curtains, doors that do not shut. In short: IT IS A SCAM ! This is a disgustingly filthy sole unit in a residential compound, NOT A RESORT, absolutely no amenities, nothing to do there, no public transportation. Beautiful place

The villa is very nice, the location is very safe, the accommodation is excellent with everything you need, affordable rates, staff (Donna and her colleague) were polite and very accommodating. We will surely comeback in this place! Comfort and cleanliness.

Perfect place to stay and rest after a day of fun activities inside Subic Bay Freeport Zone. Staff were courteous and hospitable. Everything was squeaky clean. Comforter and bedsheets smelled so nice you know it's just been laundried. I hope they maintain it this way and I'll definitely stay there again in the future. Thumbs up for you!
