Paradise on the Monterey Peninsula

As the resort opened up after the shut down, I was able to book a two night stay. I was so thankful because normally this place is booked solid. I can't tell you how much I enjoyed the resort, it was right on the beach (not good for swimming), so peaceful and close to so many fun places. Both nights I enjoyed the sunset, beach bonfires complements of the resort. I even read a little Steinbeck on the while sitting in a huge wooden Adirondack chair. So peaceful and romantic. I spent the first day at Canary Row then slowly driving down 1 PCH to Big Sur along the coast, stopping by Carmel by the Sea. On my way back to Sacramento I took the 1 PCH through Santa Cruz, Half Moon Bay and Pacifica crossing through San Francisco. Good location is best

We’re WorldMark owners and have tried for 2 years to get into this “resort”. We realized that WorldMark has limited rooms on this property and none with great views. Most WorldMark rooms have views of the playground but at least are close to the pool. We had a downstairs room (315) and I think there was a large family above us. Unfortunately, we heard every food step, every toilet flush, every dishwasher load and every washing machine cycle. It was really loud and annoying. The beach is a 2 minute walk and chairs are out there to enjoy. Not sure we’ll be back because it’s too difficult to get in We’re WorldMark owners and have tried for 2 years to get into this “resort”. By the Bay

It was our first time. The entire staff was friendly - waving to us when we walked by on the grounds. Getting acquainted with other guests at the evening social hour every day. Quiet and peaceful. Short distance to Monterey. It was our first time. The entire staff was friendly - waving to us when we walked by on the grounds. Oceanside Bliss

Spectacular location!! Short walk to the beach/ocean. Small living room but awesome room. Peaceful, listening to the sound of the ocean ifyou open the sliding glass door. Staff lights a fire every night and places chairs facing the water to watch the sunset. Great place for all ages. I can’t wait to go back. Spectacular location!! Short walk to the beach/ocean. Not a good Worldmark

This place has really changed, for the worse . No management on location. No separate front desk folks to service the guests . Instead you are now serviced by separately owned hotel staff who care less about you since not staying at their hotel. Room was not properly readied for our stay. Good luck getting any service. Pool was dirty. For owners, not getting our appropriate value for the ever increasing dues and fees. If you are a renter, beware that Worldmark management will do everything to ignore you since you are not an owner . This place has really changed, for the worse . No management on location.
