One idiot manager is enough to ruin a business

Average place with awful service, booked the restaurant and end up waiting 2 hours for the food eventually with our complaint manager offers if we want to cancel the order and when we got pissed off asking if we want to leave the hotel at 11:30 pm, left the place! Resort at great location of Torquay

Excellent resort at Torquay, easy access to many other locations like Geelong, Bellarine various vineyards, Otway National parks, etc. Also easy access to restaurants with great food from fine dining of Brae to HugSiam Thai food, Indonesian Pondok Nasi Bakar, Jack rabbit cafe, etc. Many walking places after lunch or dinner to walk off the great food. Excellent resort at Torquay, easy access to many other locations like Geelong, Bellarine various vineyards, Otway National parks, etc. Also easy access to restaurants with great food from fine dining of Brae to HugSiam Thai food, Indonesian Pondok Nasi Bakar, Jack rabbit cafe, etc. Many walking places after lunch or dinner to walk off the great food.

Great amenities and location

The location, room, outdoor pool and customer service (mostly) were all great. The website regarding the onsite cafe open days contradicted the information stand in the room and again to the flyer put under my door halfway thru my stay which was confusing and annoying when I planned day around buying dinner on-site only to discover it wasn't open. Being woken at 7am by concreters outside my room and in the garden bed adjacent, without any sort of notification by staff before hand was disappointing. No offer of recompense either. Aside from that I had an enjoyable holiday and would give them another go if in Torquay again if nothing better available. Average and a little disappointed

Staff were lovely so no complaints there. Outdoor spa temperature was quite low and not comfortable. Ordered salt and pepper calamari from the restaurant but it was clearly not the fresh one. Room was a little run down and the balcony doors need upgrading as you can hear every little noise outside. We were also above the carpark entrance so you can hear cars and people all hours. Pleasant stay

We stayed just the one night in Room #256. Check in was efficient. Undercover parking available. The room was enormous with a couch and arm chairs , a large Balcony with views to the ocean and pool along with a generous bathroom. We were quite impressed and would stay here again.
