Хороший выбор для севера Юкатана

Начнём с того, что хороших отелей, таких как в Канкуне или Плайе де Кармен, на севере просто нет. Поэтому выбирать отель надо очень тщательно. Риф Юкатан - это хороший выбор. Расположен отель, а вернее resort, в четырёх километрах от Тельчак Пуэрто, в нескольких десятках километров от Прогрессо и примерно в 70 километрах от Мериды. Вокруг нет практически ничего, это "зона отельера", в которой только один отель. В этом его большой плюс. У отеля свой пляж, метров 100 песка, на которых нет никого, кроме вас, пары соседей по отелю, альбатросов и чаек. Никаких торговцев, никаких забредших туристов из соседнего отеля. Русские здесь тоже редкость, мало кто сюда доезжает. Пляж неплохой, а вот вода почему-то иногда пахнет сероводородом. В отеле около ста номеров, есть несколько блоков на первой линии, остальные смотрят в сад. Территория зелёная и очень приличная, отличные бассейны, мостики, пальмы, теннисные корты, минигольф. Ресепшн, да и весь персонал очень приветливые. Номера большие, мебель не самая свежая, на полу плитка, тапочки и халаты не предлагаются. Так что приезжайте со своими ))) Пульт от телевизора выдали на ресепшн, кондиционер день не работал, потом вдруг стал дуть тёплым воздухом. Впрочем, он был и не нужен - ветер с моря и вентилятор создавали идеальный микроклимат. Отель работает на all inclusive, выбор блюд по мексиканским меркам не шикарен, но достаточен. Коктейлей много )) Вечером в воскресенье был ужин а-ля карт. Явный минус - интернет только в лобби, ловится трудно, убегает быстро. Резюме. Риф Юкатан - далеко не самый роскошный отель, и на юге Юкатана считался бы посредственным. Но на севере он один из лучших. И главное - он даёт отличную атмосферу спокойствия и уединения, которой вы не найдёте на юге. И которая идёт в комплекте с хорошим сервисом, приятной территорией и морем. Perfect Weekend Getaway

My friend and I stayed at the Reef Hotel for a lovely weekend getaway. We had an amazing view of the ocean and really enjoyed waking up to the sound of the waves. Our room had all the basic necessities you could need and we choose the all inclusive option which included all our food and drinks. The meals were delicious and the options were varied to suit everyones needs. Our favourite thing about our stay was the service. All the staff were very friendly and quick to assist with any needs. We stayed during Hanal Pixan (the Yucatan version of Dia de Los Muertos) and they had a fun evening themed to this with traditional food and a family oriented musical dance show that you could tell they had put a lot of effort and time into. It's a great hotel for a relaxing vacation with family, friends, or a romantic getaway. My friend and I stayed at the Reef Hotel for a lovely weekend getaway. Hidden Gem in the Yucatan

Wow! Driving through the Yucatan stumbled across this place... booked 2 nights and wished we had more time to stay. No crowds, laid back vibe. Beautiful grounds and the staff is amazing! Walked our drinks to the waters edge...truly above and beyond. All of the staff went out of their way to make our stay exceptional! Thank you Reef Yucatan....we will be back! Wow! Bed bugs

We went for a couple of days and came bag full of bed bugs bites. We asked to have our sheets changed as soon as we arrived because they looked and smelled dirty but even after they came to change it the new sheets, they were old, and stained. The pillows are a joke and the towels were all stained. Our ocean front room smelled disgusting. The buffet consist in a rotation of the same 6 meals with different sauces, no dressing for the salads. The grounds are unkempt, the front entrance looks abandoned when you first come in, that should be a tell sign of what is coming.The beach is gone due to the hurricane and also half of the paved walkway of the hotel is destroy with yellow tape all around. An enjoyable runaway.

We nearly didn't come because of reviews critizing the food and beds. I guess it's a matter of expectations. We are world travelers and were happy with both the food and the beds. Great pools, clean and well maintained. Attentive and helpful staff. Charming atmosphere. Highly recommend. Suggest hotel add safety bars in shower. Only complaint was difficulty getting there. Road construction, no signage, taxi driver got lost adding 50% to bill. None of the locals new where the hotel was Turns out Uber will get you there but doesn't service Telchac Puerto. Cheap, good food and needs manteinance

I stay there for Christmas, food from ok to good. The pool is nice, beach was small, premises need maintenence, rain water came into our room from the door, hotel looks old but for the price is good enough. I might not return but i had a good time for Christmas dinner.
