Disappointing

I would like to share my experience at this resort. My family decided to go to Taua because it was close to where we live. Our first impression was it is a little expensive but since it is close it will be easier with 2 small children. When we arrived it was as expected, although the check in was a bit slow. There was no English support but when we requested it, they found a staff member who spoke English. We were a little disappointed that the resort didn’t have any type of map or pamphlet to show us/tell us about the park. But the staff member was kind enough to take us to our room and explain the layout to us. The 1st day we didn’t have many issues and we enjoyed most of our day. The next morning “our last day there” when we were at breakfast my wife get a text from the Hotel. It is their VIP service offering us some “Gifts”. My wife is chatting with this sales lady all through breakfast and even when we returned to our room. She offered us a late check out 8PM vs our 12AM as a gift. We just needed to visit the VIP area and talk with them. We were told they have English support. When we visited the VIP area there is no English support. It took about 20 minutes to get this support. When talking with the staff, they wanted us to watch a 50-minute presentation. They didn’t have a scheduled time or plan. They would just “message us when its ready” or come back later it would be available. This is when it started to get worse, the staff told us we couldn’t use the gifts today. Which is a completely different story than the salesperson told us. At this point we have wasted about 2 hours with this “VIP” service. It completely wasted our time, and now it was 11AM just 1 hour till our check out. So we spent about 45 minutes of our day at the pool before check-out. At check out my wife complained a little, the lady asked us to wait a minute then tried to offer us a late check out again but at this point we just wanted to leave. We had already packed everything a walked a long distance with 2 kids to the check out. We just wanted to leave this place; our experience was ruined. It was honestly the worst service. To anyone reading this from United States. I would not recommend this place. It is expensive and the experience is not worth it. There are so many other better places to visit in Brazil. Taua has: • Inconsistent information. • Expensive price. • Staff that wants to waste your time. • Slow check in. • Slow check out. • Dirty Rooms. • Unsafe conditions in the room. AMAZING RESORT!

Excellent option for families in Atibaia. Although the resort is more kids oriented there are also activities for couples and the elderly as a great spa, thermal pool, sports, barbecue place and quiet areas to relax. The Staff is very well trained. I've traveled all over the world and I can recognize when they are specially trained to satisfy all your needs. A Nutrionist in the restaurant i.e. is ready to provide all the guests may need. Really Amazing!!! The whole property is very beautiful and well taken care. Everything is neat and Covid-19 protected. A very large and comfortable room, modern with all amenities awaits the guests to ensure a great relaxing stay! The food is very good with several options for vegetarians as well. A large display of different dishes with a familiar touch offer the guests several tasty options. Just be careful not to gain too much weight attending the pleasant fitness room every day Excellent option for families in Atibaia. Superb option during covid pandemic

This is our second time at the hotel and we chose it again due to the reopening during the last phase of the covid pandemic. The hotel managed to excel in many aspects for a safe and very comfortable stay during our extended weekend. Every employee seemed well trained in safety procedures and were always attentive to mask wearing and hand washing. The buffet was kept open and they organized shifts so that people would only serve themselves using gloves and masks at all times while still being able to select a delicious variety of first class food. Most activities were open as well as the water park, with limitation to the number of people that could enjoy each area at the same time. Despite a bit burdensome, the slots were plentiful and we could take advantage of all activities desired with no penalties. Room maintenance was also very strict and you can choose to have room service or not. Children were playing with the monitors always with masks and distancing among them. Overall, I have to say that they exceeded my expectations far way what I had imagined. The 3-day stay provided us with a relief of these chaotic times and allowed our kids to have a wonderful time, with all safety alongside. Excellent! Well trained staff!

What makes the difference in this place is certainly the well trained staff. It is a great differential. Outstanding Hotel

If you are looking for an amazing Hotel to take your family, this is the place. From checking to checkout, the entire team made us feel more than special. We have been coming to Taua for the past 4 years and every time they could not do any better. A special thanks to the Swimming pool Team Tio grilo, tio cabeça e tio kiwi for the amazing entertainment by the pool. Loved waking up every morning with your great vibes. Thank you Tatiane for making our rooms so clean and the lovelies towels sculptures, the kids loved them. Thank you Miudo, Magrão, Marcos do restaurante, Adriano, Odair for making our stay super special. We cannot wait to be back. From the Carvalho’s family.
