Relaxing holiday stay

Pretty nice setting

Great to have a resort so easy to get to and not far from shops and beaches, but so quiet and nice to stay there. Very comfortable stay. My son invited a few friends to join us, and the upstairs room with 4 beds was perfect for them. A little piece of paradise

Location was perfect. A nice quiet position out of the busy central section of town but still with ALDI and some takeaway places along the road. We had a fully self contained cottage that slept 8. There were only two of us but that was all that was available. Can't comment on the upstairs kids area because we didn't use it. Downstairs had two main bedrooms one with ensuite. The toilet door didn't have a door tongue on arrival and wasn't fixed for 4 days, so we ended up using the ensuite for the toilet as the main toilet points straight into the lounge area. The bed was very comfy. The kitchen was fully equipped and it was nice to have a large fridge and freezer. The oven didn't work, either did the grill, but that was fixed mid-week. The BBQ was just near the carport so no far to walk. It was a peaceful quiet resort so slept well at night. Plenty of parking. Lovely pool and spa and a huge games room. The only thing I could complain about was the couch. I swear they must have dragged that old thing in off the roadside. It was the most uncomfortable thing I've ever used. The padded had sunk down so low I could get out/off it. I ended up having to drag 6 pillows out of the cupboards to perch on! Without a lie, I felt I was sitting on the floor. We do big 4 Wheel Drive and fishing trips daily to really get a good experience of the whole wider area, so to have a comfy couch to sit on, enjoy a relaxing wine and tv really tops off the day. So sad, because this resort has so much going for it. I'd definitely go back, but might ask for a cottage with a better couch next time! I call it a cottage, but in fact it's the size of a small house! The gardens were immaculate too. You could see the cleaners and gardeners took pride in their work. We had contactless entry, so can't comment on the managers and their were no groups breakfasts like pancake morning due to COVID, either. Location was perfect. Great modern unit

We stayed here as guests of friends that have time share here. We had a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom cabin that was very well equipped. Full kitchen and laundry with washer and dryer. The property looked very well maintained. We used the pool area a few times and that was clean and tidy each time. There is also a gym onsite although we didn't use it. As shown in pics, there is a pretty lagoon on the property that is pleasant to walk around but I wouldn't swim in it. (I'm sure kids would though) You do need a car to get into Port Macquarie as the property sits on the outskirts of town. Overall we had a peaceful one week stay at the property and would look forward to going back. The only negative would be the slow and very unreliable internet. One weeks stay

Excellent resort with many activities for children. The resort was immaculately cleaned with everything required. The location is also great and convenient to shops and eateries although a car would be required. The only negative aspect was that I was charged a utility bill which I have never experienced before.
