A perfect Vermont experience

Our Son and Daughter in Law who live in NW Arkansas wanted to visit Vermont this Fall. My husband and I haven't seen foliage in Vermont either. It was the last state out of 50, on my DIL's travel list to visit and the first week of October is her Birthday week! I kept looking for a place for many weeks until I came across this Resort, being available during the first week of October. It took my kids a few minutes to say; "book it"! The proximity to Burlington airport helped a lot. We drove from Philly, they flew from NW AR after a day of work. We picked them up from the airport before midnight - all in the same day. It was a little challenging to drive up the Bolton Valley Resort Access Road in almost total darkness, but we made it! When we arrived from Philly, the sun was still up and just one look out the window at those beautiful, colorful mountains told us that this Resort was a perfect choice. We visited many small towns including beautiful, nearby Stowe, took a gondola ride to the top of Mt. Mansfield, took a Lake Champlain Cruise for my DIL Birthday, visited the Church Street Market in Burlington and saw many covered bridges. But seeing the beautiful foliage all around us was the best experience for all of us! I realized that if we picked any other place in the area, we probably would have no reason to visit the Bolton Valley Resort, so, we are glad that we picked this one. Thank you for your hospitality and for keeping us safe (Pandemic wise). We definitely recommend this resort and plan to come again. lots of walking trails

Restaurant and sports & exercise pavilion were not open. 30 minute drive to most restaurants. Lots of walking or bike options to choose from. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was large 1 bedroom unit with full kitchen and plenty of closet space. Restaurant and sports & exercise pavilion were not open. 30 minute drive to most restaurants. Staying at The Inn At Bolton Valley

Good trip. We stayed here for approximately 3 nights, checking in on Thursday July 8th and checking out Sunday July 11th. The checkin process was extremely smooth and easy. The room was on the smaller side but it was just enough for the two of us. It had a king sized bed, a tv, a small desk area and a bathroom. The rooms were quiet and we had no problem falling asleep each night. There was a lot to do at the resort, including various places to eat and things to do. The only downside was that housekeeping was not available during our stay and we had to take out the trash and get fresh towels ourselves. Otherwise we didn’t have any other issues. A great spot year round!

We love coming to Bolton during the Winter. We just did our first mid-summer trip. It was amazing. The staff was super helpful and nice. The rooms are newly renovated and have great views of the slopeside downhill runs. It was fun to see the kids practicing in the parking lot dirt course as well. We took a trip to the pot holes at the bottom of the hill and really enjoyed the beauty of everything on this mountain. We love coming to Bolton during the Winter. Very little response from facility

During our stay an alarm company serviced the resort alarms and set them off for a test I suppose. However the resort never notified us of a pending alarm test and we prepared to evacuate. I called the front desk and left a message to call me and never got a reply. I also called the front desk a couple of times during our stay and no one answered. At the end of our stay I was able to call the front desk finally. Also there was no housekeeping services during our stay and the resort left a note in our condo saying that there wasn't gong to be services.
