Is not a timeshare, don't believe what RCI says

I can confirm what others are saying about this "resort": it is NOT an RCI timeshare resort, regardless of what RCI says. I called the " resort" to confirm my reservation and was informed that "they don't do the timeshare thing anymore", at which point I contacted RCI to inform them that the "resort" would not honor my timeshare reservation. The folks at RCI told me that they were a timeshare resort and that I should show up at the resort for my reservation and contact RCI if I have any problems checking in. ARE YOU SERIOUS?!!! I had already contacted the "resort" and they confirmed to me that they were not a timeshare "resort"....they had converted into a long-stay hotel some time ago and did not have a reservation for me. I would have had to pay out of pocket if I arrived per my RCI reservation. I informed RCI of this and was told that I could not get a refund on my points or deposit if I did not show up to the resort as reserved. Only AFTER showing up to a non-existent reservation, paying for travel and out-of-pocket for a hotel, would I be able to call and get a refund, even though I had already called to confirm. Bad unit and service, Good location

The room was in bad condition, badly furnished. It only had one television (living room), the place was supposed to have two televisions. The kitchen was lacking a few important items. No frying pans, no toaster, no can opener (manual or electric),. No dish soap, no dishwasher soap, no sponges, no kitchen towels (paper or cloth). The dishwasher was not attached to the counter, it was very difficult to open without the inside tipping off the dishwasher. The hall toilet was clogged. The doors in the hall bathroom and the second bedroom did not close ,,,,,,, not leveled. The television service was malfunctioning, kept saying "unavailable" when the channel was changed. There were three nights that I could not watch television .... until 11 pm or when someone could fix it the next day. I don't think that my vacation should have been spent that way. I had to go get the paper towels, toaster and frying pans. I kept calling to have things fixed, the dishwasher was fixed two days before I left. The bedroom door was never fixed. Did not stay

We arrived the resort was no longer Salado Creek Villas is was a rent by the week. I would like for you to take this property off of the RCI website. I should have called when we got home to ask for points to be refunded. We arrived the resort was no longer Salado Creek Villas is was a rent by the week. Not up to grade

This resort is no longer RCI Standard we were not expected no idea were RCI are sending to booking confirmations but it is not to the front desk. The car park had 4 x17 tonne contractor lorries parked overnight which started off at 06.00 am each morning noisily. the resort has a raccoon problem , you can hear them on the roof, there were animals? in the roof space, we has vermin in the unit, waste trails and eating anything not put in the fridge. Very run down

Very run down and no maintenance on the exterior.. Kitchen was not equipped properly., no toaster or frying pans, no paper towels, no dish soap.and etc. Looked like a lot of low cost rentals. Trucks took up 4 spaces in front of our place. Very run down and no maintenance on the exterior..
