Decided to try this resort after getting a good deal on RCI for reasonable AI fees. Overall good experience but don't expect the drinks to be strong, food to be great, or bed to be super comfy. The beaches we were allowed to go to were good. To get around you take a shuttle bus which runs around the resort. It actually wasn't too bad getting around to your restaurants or Beach dropoffs. If you're in shape you can walk but it is hilly. Beautiful country and we did enjoy our stay but we don't plan on going back anytime soon. Dominican Resort Thanksgiving experience

Once we got our transportation issues squared away from the Santiago airport to the resort, we had a great experience. The staff at the resort were very gracious and accommodating. We enjoyed most of the excursions. The waterfalls and monkey tour were exceptional, however the city tour was a bust.. I do not recommend anyone do the City Tour. The cabanas were a nice touch and the staff ensured we had plenty of drinks and food. THE pool, fitness and spa and beach area were great as well. Great Place to Relax and Enjoy!

This is a great place to relax and enjoy. The staff members are caring, happy to serve and knowledgeable. Special mention to Anabel and Fanny at the front desk for their excellent service, but we received amazing service from everyone. The à la carte restaurants were awesome. D.R. is a great place to visit. We enjoyed our stay. This is a great place to relax and enjoy. The staff members are caring, happy to serve and knowledgeable. Beware

First let’s start with being an RCI member since 1994 and having traveled the World. Arrived on the 20th so starting in morning of 21st we were approached by the Lifestyle staff while eating breakfast regarding our appointment. We advise we didn’t have one and we’re not interested in their sales pitch. Made it extremely clear. Left the eating area and ambushed by another person named Jacob. Wanting to give us our welcome packet and explain all the VIP access that our yellow bracelet entitled us to including golf cart. He would not leave us alone. Declined over and over. We ended up at the sales office. First person we encountered we explained we’re not interested and have things to do such as make reservations for dinners throughout the week when you can only make them between 9-11. It’s now after 10am. Another sales rep showed up (purple shirt) meaning senior rep. I asked regarding what Jacob said we’re entitled to such as golf cart and she replied no, Jacob lied (not the first time per her words) and she was giving us the welcome packet, denying it’s a sales pitch. It would take 10-12 minutes. Fine give us coffee and we’ll listen, clocks ticking. Let me show you the property again declining to but she’d get in trouble. Just 10-12 minutes and I’ll take you back. 1.5 hrs later, over heated, wife getting bad headache (suffers from migraines) return to sales offer. Refusing to go inside again she advised she’d get in trouble advising all she needed was for us to be seen by going inside. Walked in door and wanted to turn around but was led to the same place we started. She disappeared, returned and spoke with unknown person observing the activities, appeared senior manager. Disappearing again and returning with her manager who wanted to give us prices. We stood up and left. Went to makes dinner reservations and we’re told it was to late. We advised it wasn’t our fault and after a forceful conversation it was resolved. With that being said, Front desk staff stated their not affiliated with the lifestyle staff sales people then my response is why are they on your property to the effect of kidnapping and detaining your guest? I use those terms because that’s what it felt like. RCI, you have problems at your facilities that you recommend . Not the first time this has happened however there was nothing in our reservations that stated we’d be harassed by the Lifestyle staff. This will be posted on every reviewable website I can find. THE GETAWAY AFTER THE WEDDING - NOT THE HONEYMOON

You have to go and experience it for yourself. We had an amazing time. I took my wife, her mom and dad and two of my wifes closest riends. The accomodations were great, the food excellent, the weather hot, the beaches and pools superb. We are already planning for next year. You have to go and experience it for yourself.
