Older place - great potential - needs a lot of updating

This hotel has a lot of potential but it needs a LOT of updating . The rooms are nice and big but very dated. Decor all seemed from the ‘80s and the carpets seemed dirty. There was a great view from the large balcony . We were on the top floor in the loft - so many many steps ( but we knew and were prepared !) There was a on site restaurant which was pretty decent and not too pricey. Go for breakfast at The Barge Inn Tavern. $8 for brekky and free coffee ! Then you can pop across the street and see all the sea lions that you hear barking at night from your room! Great view, dirty dirty room

I have to give this a mixed review as the room was really dirty-Trash was not emptied, patio had food on it, spilled ?coffee? on dresser, damaged blinds etc, dead bugs. But a fantastic view and location to be fair. BEWARE: Worst experience in a very long time staying at resorts

We just returned from the Embarcadero staying in their 2 bedroom townhouse. It was a total disappointment. There were six of us in the party and therefore we reviewed the room description on their site and made (2) separate calls to reservations clearing identifying our requirements and bedding of sleeper sofa in the living room. The description of the room on the resorts web site: Two Bedroom Townhome on their web site: Our spacious Two Bedroom or Townhouse, two Bathrooms, are perfect for larger parties of up to 6 guests. Two separate bedrooms, a full size kitchen, private balcony, and a sofa sleeper in the large living area makes this the perfect vacation get-away for families. Some have wood burning or gas fire places, and SOME rooms have stack-able washers and dryers. Book this Two Bedroom room and watch the natural Yaquina Bay entertainment and Marina traffic as they perform, or stay indoors and watch your favorite movie on one of three Flat screen TVs. When we made the reservation we clearly indicated that we were requesting the townhome with the second bedroom on the top floor giving us the opportunity to work at the resort virtually while our parents took care of our children. Upon arrival we were assigned a typical 2 bedroom with 1 king bed in each bedroom but NO sleeper sofa in the living. We were told by management that the sleeper sofa was in the 2nd bedroom. Again not what the description of the property and clearly not what we requested or needed. Upon speaking with management we were informed that the sleeper sofa was in the 2nd bedroom and not the living area. To make matters more frustrating the sleeper sofa was clearly identified as a bed that would sleep 2 adults. The measurement of the bed was 55inchs long and 33 inches wide. I would consider it a toddler bed. Management offered to place a roll away in the other bedroom which ended up having little or no room in the second bedroom. Very unimpressive

We just stayed for one night but really didn't think we received good value. The beds, pillows and shower were fine but the rooms are old and a bit shabby and lack electrical outlets within reach of the bed. Our carpet was soaking wet and we had a fan to help it dry. Place is getting worse

We stayed in B114. The bathroom really needed updating and just felt dirty. Stains on the carpet and sinks drained slowly. Noticed a plunger by the washing machine on top closet.
