Relaxing, accommodating and just overall great!

My family and I have been coming to Avalon/Stone Harbor for over 30 years. We have stayed at the Beachcomber the last 5 years, and they have been excellent. The facilities are clean, family friendly, and comfortable. Recently, my family and I decided to extend our vacation an extra night. We had 3 rooms which can obviously be difficult trying to make changes for the extra nights stay. Jennifer helped us not only add the extra night to our family vacation, but she was also able to make arrangements for us to stay in the same room (instead of having to switch completely due to adding the extra night). She was very kind and helpful during the entire process. We are so appreciative of their help and efforts. We are looking forward to another great year spent at Beachcomber! Beach Camping

First off, the staff here is wonderful. Great folks who try very hard to take care of their guests. The location is also excellent as you can walk to the beach in 3 minutes and it is only about a mile to Stone Harbor. The stay is very dependent on the room you get. Our room looked like it had not been updated in decades and was probably the worst thing I have seen in decades as well. The owner should be ashamed for putting something like this on the market. The perfect weekend getaway!

I had a wonderful experience at The Beachcomber this past weekend. The location is perfect; it only takes 5 minutes to walk to the beach, and getting to shopping and restaurants in either Stone Harbor or Avalon is an extremely speedy drive. You can easily walk to the beach to watch the sun rise, or walk down the street and peek at the sunset over the bay. The Beachcomber itself is a fantastic place to stay. We didn’t expect the couch in our studio to be a pullout bed, so that was a welcome surprise. The room was clean and furnished with many kitchen accessories - we didn’t plan to cook or make coffee in-house, but we had everything that we needed if we had wanted to! The pool deck is beautiful, and the fact that you can bring your own food and drink is a game-changer. You will want to order takeout, BYOB and spend the night by the pool and in the hot tub! That is exactly what we did, and it was a wonderful and relaxing experience. I highly recommend the Beachcomber to anyone who wants an easy, stress-free, and accommodating experience at the beach. Anniversary vacation

Really nice place. Opened our door and the room smelled great! All clean appliances, fridge, etc. king bed comfortable. Kitchenette, small sink. Bathroom roomy enough. Highly recommend. Summers must be REALLY crowded. Come down week before Memorial Day. Everything will be open. Really nice place. Opened our door and the room smelled great! Best room I've stayed in

The room was great!, it was up to date/modern style. I felt a little luxury looking, with a splash of beach vibes (certain rooms). Heated pool was a big plus on the colder nights. The beach is really close as well. Probably a few minutes of a walk. The room was great!, it was up to date/modern style. I felt a little luxury looking, with a splash of beach vibes (certain rooms).
