Nice views and most staff were friendly and attentive

Had two rooms. When asked how our stay was at checkout I said one room was great and the other was really sad. She wasn’t listening and wished me a safe journey Bed was rock hard, room didn’t feel clean, areas of disrepair, safe needed Batteries ( I don’t have the required screwdriver or batteries with me and reception said they can’t help with safe). Tv remotes don’t operate bedroom tv, balcony floor in desperate need of repair, plates, silverware and cups all different and very few of them? Frying pan handle needs tightening (again I didn’t bring my tool kit) locks and signs everywhere telling you owners areas - we felt we were being allowed to borrow someone’s home when actually we paid a lot for it. Asked reception if the had a mattress topper to help with the bed as well as bedding for the sofa sleeper in case that was more comfy than the bed. They brought up a brand new mattress for the sleeper sofa but no bedding. So we put that smaller mattress on the bed which helped but it didn’t fit the mattress underneath - awful. Oh and I didn’t appreciate the old pizza slice in the oven or the nasty cleaning rag in the bathroom cabinet. So I’m giving it 2 stars because the other room was great, staff at check in and the man delivering mattress was really nice and the location has excellent views. Lover's Key resort 601

Fantastic view, close but not too close to downtown just north of the bridge. Our condo came with everything from coolers to a blender. Be sure to check which unit you are renting as not every unit has a water view. We went in August which is off season and the rates were incredible. It was super clean, comfortable, had a balcony overlooking the inlet and river and Flipper's Restaurant on the property offered Chef's Food and Great Drinks. Beware of false advertising

I have been to Fort Myers Beach many times so I have always wanted to stay at Lovers Key Resort. The location provides a beautiful view of Estero Bay. This year we decided to give it a try. The website made it seem almost too good to be true, but we went ahead and made a reservation. The main hook for us was that they advertise a jacuzzi tub in every suite, and that the balcony would overlook the water. There is a lower price for floors 1-5, but I thought it had to do with proximity to noise from the pool area. We took the floor 1-5 rate. When we arrived, we checked in and were given room 307. Room 307 faces the parking lot so you can barely see the water. AND room 307 has a regular tub and shower. I went back down to the front desk and was told that, no not all the suites have jacuzzi tubs. However the desk clerk was able to change our room for a better view (room 306). The next morning I went back onto the website and there it was—the advertising that says there is a jacuzzi in the room! After going back down to the front desk, I complained about it in front a bunch of other customers so the desk clerk was forced to give us a $20/night discount. I am not sure I would stay here again. Disappointed

Poor experience for $350 a night. First day we had to call for towels there were none in the bathroom and only a half used roll of tp. The view is nice but the rooms need some serious renovating. The chairs had open holes, rooms very worn down. Saw one palmetto bug and the wife was swatting mosquitos the whole time. Some kids left a m&m trail in the hallway. It was there for 3 days, no one picked it up. They blame covid but I am not buying it. Disappointed overall. Poor experience for $350 a night. Just Okay

The resort was just okay. Security was strongly lacking, as anyone could go in the elevators and up to any floor. The reception is located 1 floor up from where people go in and out of. Parking is very limited as well. The spaces get taken over from patrons of Flippers restaurant and their valet. Also, NO beach access, you have to walk down to and across Estero. Our room was the only positive as it was updated, but beware... our friends had a couple other rooms and they were old and severely dingy looking. The resort was just okay.
