будьте осторожны!

cock a doodle doo not stay

Ok, positives to start, location good, weather was great,apartments and i say apartments,for some reason we booked a 2 bedroom apartment and ended up getting two apartments side by side which would have been great but since we had 3 children under 6 i'm not sure how this would even work in any ones mind , but anyways..no kiddies pool and no wi fi which was a bit of a negative ,but the beach is close so we got by..biggest negative and i mean huge..Roosters..living on the apartment hedges..they start cock a doodle dooing from 2am and carry on till your up regardless off your alarm time..awful if you want rest and your kiddies to enjoy a nights sleep. Complained to reception but apparently there's nothing they can do as its a council problem and they don't give a monkeys. know what your thinking, a couple of roosters ,how could that annoy your holiday, but to be honest..totally ruined ours. You'll see if you stay here..apartments actually good..such a pity as we will never be back even if it was free! Stay at your peril... p.s reception gave us earplugs to block out the squawking roosters, DID NOT WORK!!!!!!!!!! Apartment D2

Nice complex However Apartment D2 let by interhome ( irrespective who you book through) is basically an air b&b let. Keys had to be collected from interhome office in Torremolinos ( 20€ return taxi ) and no onsite reception or support. Although functional (everything worked) condition and maintenance was poor, looks like owner is a would be DIY enthusiast ( but not a very good one) Cutlery and crockery were dirty as was the balcony, and ants began to appear on day two. No smoke alarms or fire blacker and nearest fire extinguishers were the floor below as you left the complex.Location was very good and central with good selection of good quality restaurants and bars within 5 mins walk. Decent Apartment

Decent sized apartment with a washing machine, while not the best of machines it made my life a lot easier. Modern hob, touch controls once we worked out how it operated (which took about 1 minute)we were well suited. Bathroom while spotless could do with an upgrade ( but only a very smal gripe) Balcony only got the late evening sun but was totally private. We just took advantage of the morning sun by sitting out on the walkways that overlooked the garden below our apartment, did not use the safe (first time ever) the complex was gated and secure. Couple of hundred yards from the beach, 20 minutes from the marina, Arroyo de la Miel is about 20 minutes walk uphill from the apartments and well worth a trip out. Little square there with approx 5 bars and coffe and brandy can be had for 1 Euro 90 and at happy hour a glass of wine (and not a small one) is 80 cents !loads of other bars up there as well plus the train station, Benalmadena is a reasonable place to stay these apartments are also about a 10 minute walk from Bonanza square. Loads of chickens going cock a doodle do, so ear plugs are advisable, would I stay here again? Absolutely. Not As Advertised

Will make this quick. The place is beautiful. The pictures are accurate, but:- There is no wifi at this resort and that was not made clear in the RCI resort page- There resort is NOT in Malaga, but instead is 20km outside of the Malaga city center in an area called Benalmadena. You will need a car to get to Malaga- They did not accept credit card for the late registration or utility fee - they made very clear they would only accept cash- We went in January, which had about 60F weather. A little cold. When we arrived, the heat in the apartment was broken and couldn't be fixed for nearly 24 hours- There are dozens of roosters around the property and they will interrupt your sleep Will make this quick. Near the beach.

Have lived so many different places in Benalmàdena through the years. And this winter we went back to our beloved city. This time we choose Pueblo Quinta, its an apartment near the beach, which is nice especially if you like an morning walk along the beach, so beautiful ! When it comes to inside the apartment, you have what you need, but like almost all apartments which are rental places, it needs an upgrade in pans & equipment for cooking, it was in very bad shape and it wouldn’t cost that much to change once a year or so. The couch was also in very bad shape, and we had to put an blanket around the couch. There where no ventilation in the bathroom and the ceiling was starting to be black of mold. The beds had also very bad madres, but that’s a normal std. i hope for the complex that in the summer they will get rit of that roaster which everyday for our week there, woke us up at 4 and 7 in the morning, every single day. It basically lived outside our apartment. To be honest, I’m not sure we would choose the place again. The only wow factor was near the beach.
