The Views!

Best views and natural area creates a wonderfully restful place to enjoy the mountains. Cabins are large with great decks, BBQ for each unit and pool facility very clean. Needs Work

I will start with the pro's....the cabin was clean and the beds were comfortable. There was plenty of dishes and all you would need to cook with. The cons....very run down. If you like rustic...this is it. There were two bathrooms in our cabin...one upstairs off the bedroom with a tub and shower and another one downstairs with a shower that had nowhere to put your soap other than on the floor. There was no screen in the patio doors so you couldn't really leave the door open without letting critters inside. Our bedroom window did not have a latch to stay open so we had to prop a bottle under it to keep it open and the screen was broken. There was also no air conditioning which was not the end of the world as it cooled down at night but if you spent any time there during the day it could be an issue for you. You are responsible for taking your own garbage and recycling to the bins and there is no day to day cleaning. The cabins definitely need maintenance and paint. Nice size unit with all that is needed for a family but,,,,

Location is great if you have a car. Resort is badly in need of overhaul, terribly neglected and run down. Property is full of weeds, lawn that is neglected and in poor condition. Not conducive to sitting outside. At a mountain resort, this is a shame, the area scenery is magnificent but being outside at the resort is depressing. I had an issue with the location of my rental unit being alongside the 'septic tank field', has an unbearable and putrid smell / nauseating, in waves all day. I was told "there is nothing that can be done, your unit is along side the septic field", it only last a few hours a day". Location is great if you have a car. Amazing Stay

If you want calm and relaxing ambience, this property has something unique to offer. The rustic vibe also add up to the character of each chalets. My family stayed here for 4 nights on a special occasions and we had an amazing stay,just minor concerned from our second stay but the management step up and took ownership to rectify some concerns. The newly renovated Deluxe cabin is worth it for family and groups. Amazing service and Shoutout to Ashley, Ruby and Douglas the GM who was very personable and knows how to pay attention to the details. Thanks also to the housekeeping manager and maintenance for assistance..Sorry I forgot the name. Perfect gateaway

Approximately 20-30 min from Banff (and 10 min from Canmore). Great place to get some peace inn the middle of the great Canadian rookies. You'll be surrounded by the mountain all the time! The staff was great, relax. The site offer a couple of activities (basketball, swimming pool, tennis, hiking). You have to note that there's not a lot of amenities/activity in the 'town' (Dead's man flat), but you'll be only 10 min away from Canmore, which have plenty. The Chalet are great! Perfect for a small family. You'll have a gaz fireplace so it don't smell. The kitchen is fully equipped and spacious enough. You'll also have a big great patio.
