Cascade Lodge, Whistler, BC

A wonderful autumn retreat with reading, research, strolling through the village and lots of time to relax. The resort is close to everything but out of the nice of the village. The 2 bedroom top floor unit was very comfortable but could use some critical evaluation of the design, storage of utensils and placing of the beds in the second bedroom. Unit 630 is next to elevator; bring ear plugs! This is the only detractor. Parking is great and staff wonderful. COVID 19 protocols ample and very well respected in resort and Village. Nice week at Whistler.

Left before the snow arrived. That was the plan. Lots of trails to hike and walk on with lakes. Nice waterfalls in the area. Second stay here and really enjoyed it again. Wonderful colours, nice weather except for a couple of days. Looks like everything was getting ready for the skiing season. Would have like to go on the peak to peak gondola but not yet running. Clean and perfectly located

Rooms are exactly as advertised when booking online. The location and cleanliness get 10/10. Bed and pillows were really uncomfortable :( fitted sheets were probably not the right size for the bed so they kept popping out from the corners. The AC is very very noisy, but we loved how the little kitchen was fully equipped , and cleanliness of everything. Pool and hot tube were also great and fun! My review of this place is not good I told them I needed a balcony & 2 places to sleep I went over this a lot plus wrote everything down I was told there was a balcony a bed & a pull out couch well when I got there they had neither I could not believe it & all I was offered was a duvet which took 3 times of asking to get it they really could have cared less it seemed & we had to sleep together in one bed we were not a couple. I booked this well in advance & im the type that repeats back everything 3 times believe me I was not mistaken I also was told it was on the 5th floor when we got there it suddenly changed to the 6th floor I truly think our room was given away to someone else this really messed up my 68th birthday with my daughter we were extremely disappointed with the way the whole thing was handled. Wedding Anniversary weekend getaway.

Loved it!!! Amazing property. Booked it last minute for our 26th Wedding Anniversary and we were blown away. Stayed in 508 with a direct view of both mountain runs. Pool view as well. Seriously can't say enough about this room. Will definitly come back again. Location Location Location was amazing as well. Literally out the front door and down the street from the main strip.
