It so good

The staff was very accommodating to our needs which was nice. The hot tub was out of order all the time we were here which was disappointing but nothing they could control. We were given 2 wash cloths for us to use for a one week stay, that was pretty bad. So I had to wash clothes constantly which isn’t what I like to do on vacation. The little cottage needs to be updated, curtains are dirty, stained ‘ just everything about it made me feel dingy , there wasn’t any bugs so that was good. Bed gave me a backache every morning, we go home tomorrow & I’m looking forward to home. I probably would never stay here again. Whatever you do DONT have breakfast at a place called Jim’s right here on the property, it was the worst breakfast I have ever had, even the coffee. Palmeto Dunes need renavoated

Unites are very small and very very outdated. Most of the furniture and appliances appear to be well over 20 or so years old and of very cheep design. TV did not function properly several light were burned out the out door furniture was cheep plastic. We usually stay at Hilton properties and the difference in this and the Hilton's properties we are used to are worlds apart. We were so disappointed and uncomfortable we left early. Palmetto Dunes 2021

We had a good trip and enjoyed the location. The rooms were large and furnished nicely. We were there to play pickleball and the location was within walking distance to the courts. It is always nice having a washer and dryer in the condo. We had a good trip and enjoyed the location. The rooms were large and furnished nicely. wonderful stay

My wife and I had a great time at the Villages. Arrived early but were warmly welcomed and allowed to check in. The space (1 bedroom) is quite comfortable though the location of the other units removes some privacy. We were in the first grouping of units so there may be large more private elsewhere. Amenities were great, location to the beach, general store, laundry facilities etc., were great. The grills are a bit outdated so please be careful, not sure about the two by the pool. We didn't use the pool so can't speak to that as the beach was too close and beautiful. Staff were very friendly and responsive to requests. Would certainly recommend but would not describe the faciclites as high end but certainly comfortable. We would not hesitate to return. My wife and I had a great time at the Villages. Great Location / Small Units

The location of the resort is a five minute walk from the beach (on a beautiful concrete path) and is near the Trent Jones Tennis Center and the General Store in Palmetto Dunes. The bike paths in the area (as they are in all of Hilton Head) are phenomenal. There is a nice pool area and fenced playground for small children. This resort is in a nice quiet location where, on this trip, we saw a lot of wildlife (deer, alligator, possum, heron, egrets, etc.). The two bedroom unit we were in had very comfortable furniture. We prefer a softer bed and got great sleep in this unit. The only downside was the size of the accommodation overall. It doesn't bother me at all when the bedrooms/bathrooms are smaller (which these are), but the living area was much too small. The kitchen was TINY with a half-sized oven/stove and no counter space or cupboards at all. We rented four units for our family and wanted to have everyone come to our unit for meals and games, etc. There was DEFINITELY not enough room for that inside the unit. Thankfully, there was an awesome BBQ/patio area right behind our unit with two large and clean picnic tables. The weather this week was perfect, so we were able to eat many meals outside and enjoyed visiting with family on the patio. Had that not been available or had the weather not been conducive to outdoor dining, we would have been very cramped inside the unit. Overall, our vacation was very very nice and the unit would have been fine for a couple or small family. We loved the large patio doors and windows throughout the unit. Also, the Internet service at this location was very fast and the smaller kids enjoyed the nice large TV in the unit.
