Nice, Sweet, Relaxing

Spacious rooms, nice view of the ocean, friendly front desk staff, and plenty of opportunities for plane-spotting if you're into it (tourists flock to the beach near the airport to catch the flights arriving and departing, which is really cool!). Despite the resort being right next to the airport, it's not that loud if you close the balcony sliding door. The island and resort is true paradise, and I always feel sad when it's time to leave, but very hopeful and excited when next year approaches! a Hidden Gem

Although this property is dated it is well kept and a perfect location! We love the views and the pool area. You can watch the planes land and take off right across the street. It is amazing. There are so many beaches and wonderful eating places all within walking. The grocery is right under the resort. This is one of our favorite places to stay while visiting St. Maarten. This last time the check in was across the street due to covid, and the guest service there were a bit to be desired. It seemed as everything was an inconvenience to them. Not sure what is was about but all in all we will still return. Hopefully things will be back to normal and the guest service clerks can smile! A resort stuck in the 1970's

I own across the street at Royal Islander Le Plage, and I had high hope for this resort. my hopes were crushed and the stay was not enjoyable for me. If you are considering Royal Islander, stay at Le Plage. Fantastic place to stay

We visited during pandemic in Feb. '21. The staff could not have been more helpful to us during our visit. Rooms were spotless as well as the grounds. Everyone was very accommodating to us. Family Vacation

La Terrasse was in good working order. The staff was friendly and cheerful a pond our arrival. Minor issues did arise but the staff tried there best to resolve.
