Отличный отель, но это не те Карибы

Только вернулись с отеля Dreams riviera cancun. Русских там по пальцам пересчитать) в основном американцы. Отель отличный! Небольшая, но очень ухоженная территория. Просторные номера с джакузи в комнате. Была небольшая проблема со стеклянными полупрозрачными дверьми с с/у и душе, т.к. дети уже взрослые жили с нами)) в каждом номере по 2 раковины. Полотенца приносили пачками, бери сколько хочешь. Халаты и тапочки по запросу, полы очень холодные! В душе только мыло, шампунь и гель для душа. Убирали отлично. В минибаре газировка и по 4 бутылочки пива 0,2 входит в обслуживание. Есть кофеварка с кофе, но я с ней не подружилась и ходили с утра в круглосуточную кофейню с хорошим кофе и отличными пирожными) Еда на шведском столе шикарна!!! Омлет с креветками, свежая рыбная нарезка, сыры, вкусная колбаска, сосиски, креветки в салатах и просто, всегда! Гуакамоле, супчик томатный супер, начёс всегда и везде) шампанское на завтрак)) Возле бассейна делали самые вкусные бургеры, которые я когда либо пробовала!!! В рестораны а-ля карт записываться не надо, ходи сколько хочешь, но долго ждать подачи(( Есть итальянский ресторан чайлдфри и с дресскодом! Роскошный алкоголь, но лучше чистым, т.к. коктейли разбавляют сильно химозными сиропами и кола из автомата с привкусом хлорки (( Из банок редко наливают. Пиво Корона отличная и на розлив и в банках. Чай нужно давать всегда и везде, тут так принято! На бар приходят все всегда с пачкой по доллару)) Анимация на бассейне хорошая, интересней турецкой точно! Днём проводят кулинарные мастер классы.Каждый вечер приличные шоу. По территории гуляют игуаны. Персонал очень приветлив и заботлив! Но самый главный провал этого отеля, вернее места где он находится, это море ((((((( Помимо противных водорослей, которые тут частые гости, вода болотного цвета и с таким же запахом! Даже когда водоросли уходили, вода оставалась зелёной и с запахом тины( искупалась один раз за 11 дней и сразу побежала в душ((( Купаться ездили в Канкун (убер 18$ или отельское такси 45$) и когда ездили на рыбалку. Это испортило весь отдых. На Карибах не в первый раз, но в этот раз случился прям факап( обидно! И местные гиды говорят, что тут море всегда такое. Почему то в отзывах я этого раньше не увидела. На фото море в отеле в лучшие дни. Последнее фото, море в Канкуне в тот же день. Только вернулись с отеля Dreams riviera cancun. Русских там по пальцам пересчитать) в основном американцы. Нам с семьей настолько понравился отель, что захотели оставить отзыв и порекомендовать другим! Для нас отпуск - очень важен, так как мы не часто можем себе позволить из-за занятости. Всегда стараемся выбирать хорошие, комфортные отели. В этот раз выбрали Dreams Riviera. Понравилось абсолютно всё!!!! Муж взял премиум пакет. Очень рекомендую сделать именно так. В этот пакет входит VIP check in, пользование Premium Club, шатры с кроватями на пляже и в зоне бассейна, и куча всяких ваучеров на спа, экскурсии и т.д. А теперь по порядку: По приезду, нас встретили на reception продезинфицировали с ног до головы (обувь, чемоданы и т.д.), померили температуру и проводили в Club lounge . Принесли шампанское и свежевыжатый сок из агавы для ребёнка и пока мы пили и кушали всякие чудесные закусочки, нас поселили)). В связи с COVID 19, в отеле всё перевели в App приложение: ключи от номера, меню и бронь ресторанов и т.п. Везде все дезинфицируют и моют постоянно. Детские стульчики дезинфицируют и заматывают плёнкой каждый раз после использования. Еда везде шикарная! Очень красиво и вкусно! На завтраке, нереальное количество экзотических фруктов, очень вкусно делают омлет с лобстером и креветками. Очень нравится закуска из свежего Тунца. Все продукты, в нашем понимании, до эпидемии, по фуршетной системе были выложены порционно на маленьких красивых тарелочках. Свежевыжатые соки - любые! Что мне понравилось, что хлеб и хлебобулочные изделия нигде не лежат, заказываешь официанту и он приносит. Поэтому кол-во съеденного хлеба резко уменьшилось, что хорошо для любой фигуры :-) Рестораны все очень хорошие! Везде вкусно и отличное обслуживание! Мы обедали в рыбном ресторане, в основном. Там потрясающий Sea food soup и жаренная рыба. В ресторане Seaside Grill очень вкусный салат Цезарь и стейк. И ещё мы заказывали просто куриную грудку на гриле, очень вкусно. Очень понравился мексиканский ресторан: жаренный сыр, стейк, кисадилья и десерты. В рыбном ресторане на ужин очень понравились карпачо и креветки с кальмарами, и очень вкусный был лосось на гриле. Персонал везде отличный, услужливый и не навязчивый: на территории, и в ресторанах и на пляже. Уборка номеров хорошая. Как-то, наши соседи устроили себе party после 12:00, мы позвонили и эту проблему сразу решили. Контингент людей очень приятный. На счёт анимации ничего не могу сказать, мы их не видели. Мы приехали с детьми 8 лет и годик, поэтому жили по своему расписанию. Ни на одно шоу мы не успели, ни в одном мероприятии не участвовали, только слушали живую музыку по вечерам на лобби. Море и пляж прекрасные! Песок очень мягкий и белый, не греется вообще. Детям в кайф играться и бегать. Берег всё время убирают. Вообще службы по отелю работают очень качественно. Очень красивые бассейны. Из негатива могу сказать только, что не понравилось кафе Коко Бар. Ничего вкусного там нет. И вечером негде попить чай, почему-то всё закрыто. Всем рекомендую этот прекрасный отель!

Всем рекомендую этот прекрасный отель! По приезду в отель нас угостили шампанским. Предложили выбрать расположение номера чего я вообще не встречала нигде. Чтоб давали номер на выбор. Весь персонал приятные общительные и ненавязчивые. Все здороваются, и всегда готовы помочь и ответить на любой вопрос. В общем обслуживание тут на высоте. Хороший выбор ресторанов и очень хорошая еда с хорошим выбором. В ресторане "шведский стол" очень много разнообразия, здесь вы обязательно найдете что-нибудь поесть! Японский ресторан супер !!! Они требуют бронирования, но определенно стоит пойти туда на ужин! Лучший ужин, который у нас был в этом отеле. Алкоголь качественный не разбавленный как в некоторых отелях. Отель красивый и очень чистый. Чисто везде даже в общественных туалетах. Чистейший бассейн. Красивый ландшафтный дизайн. Чистенький пляж который убирают иногда даже дважды в день. Заскучать вам не дадут веселая команда аниматоров. Вечерние развлечения не самые лучшие, но адекватные. Определенно рекомендую. Но главным развлечением для нас стали экскурсии. Экскурсии были чудесные! Очень интересные, не утомительные. Узнали много интересного про Мексику и увидели много красивых мест. Организация поездок была на высоте! Трансфер очень комфортный. Забирали с ресепшена и оплата по факту на самой экскурсии. Все экскурсии брали у Юрия Щепкина. Это настоящий профессионал своего дела. Интересный рассказчик и просто очень приятный человек. Помог сэкономить на покупках подсказал где что выгодней покупать и не попасть на подделку. Вообще поможет по любому вопросу. Если захотите его найти то это легко сделать по имени фамилии в соцсети вконтакте. Номер отличный, качественная уборка и все необходимое в номере есть. К серьезным минусам отнесу очень плохую шумоизоляцию номеров и горничные постоянно забывают докладывать полотенца и приходилось несколько раз обращаться на ресепшен чтоб устранили эту проблему. Решали вопрос сразу но через пару дней это опять повторялось. Мы прекрасно провели время, отдохнули именно как хотели. Отелем очень довольны и возможно вернемся сюда в следующем году. Если как то исправят проблему с шумоизоляцией и выправят работу горничных то вообще будет не к чему придраться). Ну это мелочи по соотношению ко всем плюсам поэтому даже не буду занижать оценку. Супер Мексика

Были в Мексике первый раз с женой, попали на циклон и это конечно подпортило настроение, но только до приезда в этот отель. На стойке встретили и поселили в момент даже давали номера на выбор (где хочешь там и селись), уборка супер, мини бар пополняют каждый день (даже пару раз если попросишь), анимация супер ребята скучать не дают. Еда и рестораны (по факту )не придаются каждый день, выбирай что хочешь и наслаждайся процессом. Потрясающий отель

Персонал и сервис выше всяких похвал. Превосходная еда в отеле. Отлично обставленные номера и уютная уединенная территория отеля. Большое количество развлечений для отдыхающий. Excellent Location, With Great Service

Topics I'm going to touch on: • COVID Precautions • Check-In • Resort Security • Staff Friendliness • Food and Drink Options • Resort Grounds Cleanliness • Room Cleanliness • Beach Cleanliness • Excursion Options • Connectivity (Wi-Fi, Cellular) • Pools • Firstly, COVID Precautions: Here's what to expect when you first arrive on the resort: Bell hope will take all of your bags for sanitization - all bags sanitized will get an attractive little sticker stating this. You will be asked to wipe your shoes on a special floor mat that has disinfectant in it, then use the sanitizer; last step is getting a thermal camera temp screening. • Check-In: Following is my experience as a 'Preferred Member': Escorted to the Preferred Lounge, where I provided my passport and other info to the concierge; I signed their Drug and COVID Policy, as well as signed up for Wi-Fi access. They will have you connect to Wi-Fi and download their Room Key app (Mobile Access - Go ahead and download this, cause it will be slow to download). They walk you through logging into the Wi-Fi, as well use of your digital key card. You are then escorted to your room, where your bags should already have been delivered inside. • Resort Security: Tall walls around the resort (with exception of the beach side) and a manned security gate - if your name isn't on their clipboard, you're not getting in - they will confirm your name and room number. Once this is verified, the gate will open, allowing you in (Reminiscent of Jurassic Park). • Staff Friendliness The staff is very willing to help with EVERYTHING - always with a smile. Other hospitality locations should send their employees here for training. • Food and Drink Options As a Preferred Member, you get access to the Preferred Lounge, with Hors d'oeuvres and a private bar. From my experience: You have a great little buffet style restaurant, Italian, Japanese, sushi, coffee, burgers, hot dogs, nachos, fries, a great breakfast selection (8:30 AM - 9:30 AM for Preferred Members) next to the ocean, and probably others that I didn't get the chance to try. Alcohol? So. Much. Alcohol. Though it seems to not be "top shelf", and not as much as you would get from a place that you paid for drinks from. Room Service was unlimited and free for Preferred Members as well, with a small selection, but mostly enough for most people. (Portion sizes are small all over the resort; this isn't the United States). • Resort Grounds Cleanliness At almost all times of the day and night, you will see staff walking around and sweeping / picking up trash; The grounds were very well kept as well. DO BE CAUTIOUS when the ground is wet - there is really no 'non-slip' strips on the hard surfaces - I witnessed one man fall down the steps twice in a row. I myself almost slipped on multiple occasions. Kudos to the resort, however, as after it rains, they have staff with push squeegees trying to free the ground of the water. • Room Cleanliness Rooms were kept immaculate; as a Preferred Member, House Keeping came to clean my room and make my bed in the early afternoon, and again early evening to untuck my bed to sleep in. My minifridge was kept stocked with juice, water, sodas, and Coronas. • Beach Cleanliness The employees clean the beach seemingly all day - raking and shoveling seaweed and trying to keep the beach clean and tidy. The water isn't clear, or a pretty blue, but it's ocean water none-the-less. • Excursion Options From my experience, there is a hut on the beach (far left side in the 'Preferred Members' area of the beach. Generally, there are two people - take what they say with a grain of sand - we were sold one thing, got to the destination, and were told another. It was rectified though, with a deep discount on another excursion, and a freebee on another. • Connectivity (Wi-Fi, Cellular) Wi-Fi - can be slow at times, but coverage is AMAZING. Cell service is spotty, and depends on your carrier. • Pools Always clean, and always active - they had Musical Chairs going on quite a bit; lots of great music playing constantly. My wife and I did a destination wedding at Dreams Riviera Cancun and Resort! Marissa, our wedding coordinator, was fantastic and had everything arranged just the way we envisioned the celebration. It rained on our wedding day and she did a great job pivoting the wedding from the beach to a covered terrace. The flowers were stunning. Charlie and Manuel did a great job running the cocktail hour and reception. Having a pinata for the kids was a great decision. Best all-inclusive experience!

My girlfriend and I just returned from a week at Dreams Riviera Cancun. I've been to at least 15 different all-inclusive resorts in Punta Cana, Cancun and the Riviera Maya, and this resort is hands-down the best that I have experienced. The level of customer service and friendliness exhibited by the entire staff is something they should really be proud of. From check-in to housekeeping, everything was fantastic. The food at all the restaurants was very good. The only one that requires a reservation is the show table at the Japanese. Not having to worry about making dinner reservations is so great. We enjoyed Japanese twice, Mexican twice, French and Italian. All were great. The Oceana restaurant is the only one we didn't try for dinner, but we hit it up daily for lunch. Very good food. Try the whole fried fish! I wish I could remember the names of all the amazing employees, but some that stand out in my memory are Jessica and Clever at the lobby bar, Jose and Heriberto at the swim up bar. Neiry was a wonderfully enthusiastic housekeeper who kept our room spotless each day. I feel bad not remembering more names, but literally everyone there is so friendly and accommodating. We were there with a large group for our friend's wedding. It poured rain that day so the beach ceremony had to be moved to the lobby area. It still was beautiful. The food at the reception was great. Surf and turf was really good. I feel like we get spoiled as Americans with great beef, but the steaks I had at Dreams were very good! I always take a couple hundred bucks in ones to tip at all-inclusive's, even though it's not required. These people work hard, and I work in the service industry, so I like to tip. That being said, the bar tenders and servers never seemed to provide sub-par service to people that didn't tip. I've witnessed that at other resorts, but not here. Everyone was treated to fantastic service from what i saw. All in all, I have no problem saying that Dreams Riviera Cancun is the finest all-inclusive that I've ever experienced. Nice getaway.

As we all know, each experience is subjective but I figured I would throw my thoughts out there for anyone interested. We just returned home yesterday. I visited this resort 3 times in 2013-2015. It was our absolute favorite at the time and a true gem. We went to Secrets Akumal (1st Secrets property and only other AI we’ve been to) this past July. I was debating between trying Maroma or Dreams and we landed on Dreams. The absolute best thing about this property Is the staff. I adored each and every person that I encountered. Friendly, accommodating, happy and bright, always! Santos, Victor and Armando at the breakfast buffet. Santiago morning mimosas poolside. Alejandra poolside service. Jose, Karen and Alexis entertainment crew. Jose, Raphael and Adriel swim up bar. Daniel and Ansul (sp?) at the swing bar. The best of the best! We enjoyed most of the food at this resort. I wouldn’t say anything was particularly amazing but as is for a lot of Americans, we are use to American versions of every cuisine. Nothing at these AI’s have ever been quite the up to par. That being said, Pizza by the pool is better than room service pizza which I wouldn’t order again. Room service shrimp and salmon were the best of any place we tried. People rave about Akumal’s food but we preferred the food at Dreams. Drinks were always delicious. LOVED the mango margarita on the rocks with Tanjin rim! Also preferred drinks and drink service at Dreams to that which we had at Akumal. Seaweed was minimal. Sand is powder white and so soft. However, the water color was closer to the Atlantic Ocean. This is Mother Nature and I’m ok with that. When we visited years ago we did experience the typical Caribbean blue water at this resort. Most pics on TripAdvisor and sites like this aren’t showing a lot of beach pics for this resort and what is posted on there looks dark blue or brownish. Wondering if the water gets light blue in this area anymore? We preferred Akumal beach. The resort is small and that had been a plus for us in the past. We still prefer a smaller and more intimate resort. However, if you are looking for any down time during the day, this is probably not the best resort option. The size of the resort means that all pools are on top of each other, as is with the music, activities, weddings and everything in between. You can not escape this. The noise travels! Personally, I like the activity during the day so I was not bothered. But at night, it was difficult to sleep at times. To add to that, alarms sound several times a day for a minute or so. At one point my partner had showered and forgot to turn on the fan and it triggered the alarm. I got a call asking if all was well in the room. Perhaps this is what is happening at times? Great air conditioning in our room and all spaces in the resort with air. Like freezing. It was amazing. Pool was chilly/cold for sure but once in there for a bit you warmed up to it. I definitely didn’t get the sense that it was heated. The one thing I absolutely did not like at all, which had changed since our last time at Dreams, is the Bali bed set up. These beds are put at the entire front row of the Infinity pool. The spaces in between the Bali beds are essentially reserved for additional chairs for others in the party. It makes the space feel over crowded and it obstructs the view for the 2 rows behind the Bali Beds. They did the same thing with the beds on the beach. To be fair, there are 2 sections of chairs, no umbrellas, on the beach. 1 of these sections had beds in the front. I really feel that the beds should be in the back row at the infinity pool to allow for a better experience for everyone. Our group loves full sun and we would never opt to pay for these beds for that reason alone. You do not need a Bali bed to get great poolside service. Out of the resort and to the left about 100 yards, there is a tent for massages. Cash only. 45$ for an hour. The other ladies in my group absolutely enjoyed it! Overall, we still enjoyed our vacation. Based on the fact that we often travel as a group of women, we would likely opt to stick with the Adults only properties moving forward. This place is great for families, although I’d be concerned about noise if you have a child that may be negatively impacted by that. The wedding set ups also looked beautiful. We had an absolutely amazing stay at the Dreams Riviera Cancun resort and took advantage of everything they had to offer. We'll definitely be coming back! The food and drinks were great, the spa very relaxing, the beach and infinity pool were just what we needed.
