Nice relaxing resort to go to

I went there with an other couple we had a great time. It’s quiet and the place is nice. It is a good location. I was worried the elevator would keep me up all night as our unit was directly across from the elevator bank. It was not a problem. The kitchen is small. But it works. The master bedroom was small too but I’m just sleeping there the 2nd bedroom was a good size. Some units have washer dryers some don’t. Ask if you need it. Average accommodations for a two bedroom

The place is reasonably clean , parking is easy . However , if you are going to stay in a two bedroom , one of the bedrooms is definitely for children - very short skinny children . If you are a tall adult , best of luck getting a good nights sleep . One plus is the location , being pretty close to most things , or a short drive The place is reasonably clean , parking is easy . Newport, RI family reunions

Due to pandemic, we didn’t travel in 2020. I booked 2 units of 2 bedrooms and 1 unit of 1 bedroom in Newport, RI from September 6 to 8, 2021 in 3 different location. Total 11 of us. We enjoyed lunch at Benjamin’s Seafood Restaurant, breakfast at Corner Cafe, and dinner at Malt and Lucia. We did Ocean Drive, Cliff Walk. We have good time! Disappointing Visit

Travelled with a small group of relatives to Long Wharf Resort... very excited as i've been there many times prior. The resort staff has become very apathetic. Anything I requested was met with "sorry, can't do that". Room wasn't cleaned properly. Dishwasher, ironing board and washing machine in unit was broken. They totally ran out of pool towels, blaming the company they used for laundry services. And I've said many times... these rooms are SO large and spacious but with a lack of any functional furniture in the space. No where to prep meals/food, NO closet in the master bedroom of our 3 bedroom unit... and no hooks or racks of any sort to hold wet towels, etc. They close the pool and the firepit WAY too early, with the only explanation being that they need the engineer to shut it off. Well, pay the person for a few extra hours to hang around and do so! Asked multiple times for a room change (even to a smaller unit!) and they did nothing. Left after 3 days of a 7 night visit. Frustrating. Best thing about this resort is the location and beds are super comfortable. Club Wyndham Long Wharf - stay 9/10 to 9/17 2021

A very nice resort close to most of the downtown restaurants, entertainment, and harbor activities. The kitchen area is a little smaller than the average 2 bedroom unit but it was adequate for our needs. the floor area around the pools are in need of some work. the top coatings have seemed to have been washed away over time exposing the small stone base which made walking barefoot on the surface very uncomfortable.
