Great staff, bi-lingual, helpful, informative, professional. The room was spacious with a great view of the infinity pool and the ocean. Also, room accommodations were set up for a comfy homestay. Close to downtown, the island hopping ferry, and the historic district. There is a dive shop; Pepe's Scuba, on the property who provides great instruction and a secure dive. Still a Gem

The staff at Coral Princess is one of its' major attributes. Many have been there for years and remember returning customers. But, they also treat the new customers as if they'd been part of the place for years. The location is north of the main town (about 15 minute walk , this area is less congested than the southern portion. If you have an ocean view unit the view is spectacular. It provides gorgeous sunset views and the beauty of the ocean can't be beat. The jungle view faces the road, so the sounds of trucks, cars etc can be heard 24/7. If you are a light sleeper avoid the jungle rooms. That said, it's truly no worse than a downtown hotel in most major cities. The rooms are large, and have lots of storage. Many are dated, so if that's an issue... Under current times, the main restaurant stops serving mid afternoon. Service around the pool area seemed to change during the 2 weeks we were there, so not sure if it's becoming more available as the place fills or ??? There's an area by the ocean where sand was brought in, but not a true beach. There's a boat dock in front (where the onsite dive shop leaves from) and some beautiful snorkeling can be accessed from there as well. Pepe's Scuba is located on the property and as an avid diver it's one of my favorite reasons for returning to the Coral Princess as often as I can. There are many positives about the Coral Princess. IT IS NOT a party hotel, no special play areas for small children, no separate pool for adults only, it has limited facilities to assist with disabilities. Also be aware that the flooring in common areas can be super slippery when wet (ie heavy rains), the staff will immediately begin mopping it, but during rain times that can be a losing battle. Look Elseware

Currently here at the Coral Princess. While at one time I believe this was a nice place to stay, between the bait and switch and the closed due to COVID this is one hotel you would do best to avoid. While booking you are encouraged to become a "Kay Rewards" Loyalty Program member and receive several perks such as a VIP check-in (arrive at 330pm - take over 45 minutes to check in only to learn your room is still not ready). 10% Discount at PEPE SCUBA DIVE SHOP - lol what a joke. The Dive shop knows nothing of this - when asked at the front desk they too know nothing of this. I ask them to look on their website and my contact of which they do and clearly see the highly advertised discount and state they need to talk to management. 30 minutes later I am told the dive shop should of honored the discount and send me back to Pepe's Dive Shop. Once again the dive shop states they know nothing of the discount. Yet when checking out they feel the need to write up a receipt but not provide a copy. Something is very "fishy" here. Is the dive shop cashier pocketing the 10%? If not them - who is? Never as a customer should I be made to ask for what clearly you market as part of the hotel rate. Next lets talk about all the amenities the "resort" offers. Wait that's right there are none. They are shown on the website but in reality they are not offered due to COVID. They do offer a very limited menu from 8-3 however nothing afterwards and the walk to town is 40 plus minutes. Pool bar - not open - pool table - not open - gym - not open - dinner - not an option - pool - not heated - music - none - entertainment - none - swim up bar - closed - and the list goes on. Had this been disclosed I would have not issue but to have selected this hotel for the diving and the amenities this has been one big bait and switch from start to finish. Tired and long in the tooth hotel that has seen better times.

Has used Covid as an excuse to cancel everything, Spa closed, Gym closed, (well full of boxes) the pool is small and cold, (although pictures suggest otherwise). What facilities exist include only pay options, such as, coffee, tea, water in the room! All add up to 1 star accommodation. Covid safe practice includes a strange UV/chlorine dioxide gate that guests are forced to face ID themselves on and stand in the poisonous vapours for 3 minutes. Meanwhile room doors have 1 cm air gaps to ensure any airborne pathogen will pass into the room. One temperature Aircon (cold), old beds. Outside a nice dive spot with live reef and colourful fish, bring goggles. Food available from 8-4 no evening meal About 40 minute walk to town, no public transport is available and fixed priced taxis (US$5) rare at night when leaving the property, plentiful in town. I really enjoyed this place! Workers are nice, its clean, facility is beautiful!

This place was a really really good value for the money. Get the hotel room overlooking the ocean if you can, it was beautiful. It was very clean and the workers were all really, really nice. Great experience! The bathrooms are a little outdated but its not a big deal, just older fixtures. The views make up for it and I love the beach and the snorkeling is amazing right by the hotel, the pool is nice too, I would definitely recommend!
