Great Promise

Unbeatable, peaceful lakefront location—best in Wanaka, and I’ve stayed in a dozen places there. But my room sorely needed an update. Carpet and drapes looked like they’d been around for too many years. At least it all felt clean enough. Outstanding service, beautiful place to stay

I come once a year to Wanaka to visit family and stay at the Edgewater. It is a place where I restore. It is beautiful, clean, I love it. Today I had an issue with some newly arrived very noisy family and I needed desperately the quiet and restful time. I rang reception to ask for help to shift me somewhere quieter. The staff went out of their way to find me the perfect place, and due to my physical challenges even upgraded me. And...as I returned from the visit...a lovely card and a chocolate. Always amazing

Edgewater is our favourite place to stay with its friendly welcoming team, incredible lakeside views and handy location. We had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant and enjoyed the new additions to the menu. Wonderful experience at Edgewater Wanaka

Our four night stay at Edgewater Wanaka last week was just wonderful, what a beautiful setting, the views up to the mountains and out over the lake were breathtaking. The lake front apartment was amazing, every amenity you could expect. The staff from the moment we arrived, at breakfast and dinner as well as housekeepers were very professional, friendly and attentive. Will definitely return to this great resort!!! A wonderful getaway.

Edgewater is in a superb position, handy enough to town and with lovely peaceful views over Lake Wanaka. Our suite was well-equipped, and comfortable. The dinner menu was good, and the breakfasts were to die for. With friendly, attentive staff to look after us our stay was totally positive.
