Perfect holiday a The Pines

We had the most enjoyable holiday at The Pines in Wanaka during the last week in May 2021. Our unit number 1 had the perfect view of the Lake and even though it was winter, the unit was warm and comfortable. The facilities are perfect for young families with the spa and sauna to give us extra warmth. We even managed a game of tennis, mini golf and table tennis. The resort is within walking distance of the supermarket, shops and cafes. Will be back for another holiday soon. Wonderful views over Wanaka

This is an older resort but has been maintained to a high standard and has character. Most units have a great view and it is in easy walking distance to the lakefront, cafes, supermarket and other facilities. Very nice place

Location, situation, easy access, clean and tidy, nice carpet. Pleasant front desk Traffic in this part of NZ is easy to cope with Yes this is on the 'Bucket List' for another time too. Great Place

This is a lovely resort set above Wanaka. It is well maintained and very friendly. The units are well appointed, and very clean. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Refurbished rooms good but need double glazing and a heat pump

This resort is great for families. The kids loved the bikes, playground, trampoline, mini golf, and pool. The refurbished units are good, but it is a shame the refurbishment didn’t extend to double glazing and heat pumps. They would pay themselves off with reduced heating bills in 5-10 years. In the depth of winter, the enjoyment of the units is affected by the chill coming through the glass, and the panel heaters need to be left on high 24 hours a day to compensate.
