A Pleasant Stay in a Tree House!

When you are sitting in the unit, what you see is the tops of trees, giving the illusion of your being in a tree house. We found this gave a sense of privacy and serenity, and loved that about the unit. Our arrival was late, but the guard at the gate had our keys and the unit information, and we found it with no problem. The unit had ample space, except that the kitchen area was rather small. Having said this, the unit appears somewhat "tired" or "dated." The furniture and appliances appear older, the door to the master bath stuck, the latch to go out on the patio would not open correctly. Housekeeping was very responsive; maintenance not so much. We asked for someone to change a light bulb on the deck, but it was never done. After several days of waiting I fetched a screw driver from the car and did it myself. The latch and sticky door were never addressed, though we reported these the first full day there. The units themselves need significant improvement - the floors were not level, which I suspect accounts for the door problems. The kitchen was poorly designed - you could not open most of the drawers without first opening the over door because the door blocked the opening of the drawers. Sharp knives were not accessible from the kitchen area - you had to walk into the dining area to open the drawer containing the knives. Having said all this, we were comfortable there and felt totally secure. Staff was pleasant, and there were no major problems. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable; the twin beds upstairs not so much. I would not hesitate to return, and might recommend it with the noted reservations about maintenance issues, poor kitchen design, and the age of the unit and furnishings. Disappointed in course condition

We have played here many years. It has always been a great course to play. We were so disappointed in the condition of the course this time. They have spent money on new carts with gps and new cart paths, but have neglected the course. Tee boxes had little grass and greens and fairways were horrible. Tees and fairways had not been mowed in a long time. It was not due to rain either. There was plenty of weeds on the tee boxes. We have played here many years. It has always been a great course to play. We were so disappointed in the condition of the course this time. Needs improvement

This place needs serious updating. Old worn furniture, mattresses in bad shape, unable to open back door (reported to office twice, they promised to send someone..stayed in all day but no one came). I didn't go on vacation to clean dust off furniture & clean dirty kitchen appliances. Second deck had no outdoor furniture. Very disappointed. This place needs serious updating. The description of the property is puffery. There is absolutely no view unless you really like trees. I'm pretty sure that the furniture is from a mobile home. Seems small. My family was happy with the golf course, but said that it was up and down, up and down. One hole was at the bottom of a cliff... Hehehe... The description of the property is puffery. Nice older resort

Very good location. Nice older resort. We had a large 2 Bedroom unit, both downstairs plus a loft with 2 twin beds. They definately need to upgrade the TV's. Not much to do at the resort.
